Yes ah, 1:1, still $125. Not my problem, just that they don't have more kids during that hour ja.
Usually piglet goes through 2-3 passages ~2 pages @, with pinyin. Also some simple Q (comprehesion type).

$125 1:1 is very cheap!

Jun attended his first PTH playgroup at Graceful Hands (Prince Edward) last sat. Class of 8 pax, 75 mins $166/class. As it's a parent-child class, I benefit from it too :mrgreen:

Just playgroup for Jun to expose to the PTH environment je, will stop when he goes to K1. Will there be any difficulties when piglet asks you on his french homework? I actually quite like TSL - French+ good spoken eng/PTH+swimming pool+affordable school fee

Kv has just had one tooth (front tooth of lower jaw) fallen off yesterday..... and he looks so funny (ugly!) now!

I want to buy a chair for Kv, need to have both arms and adjustable height. Any recommendations?

Just seen one at Ikea, cost $1,290, is it expensive?

My son has two lessons of PTH at school each week + 1 lesson (1:1 at home, $200/1.5hr.) + 1 lesson (1 hr. ECA at school on Sat. - teacher from better chinese)

Basic Fr is only for 1 hr / week during schooltime, no extra charge.
Fr homework should be v easy, = what was taught, can follow from exercise / textbook.
I know a teeeeny bit of Fr so can survive in front of piglet.
For those which I don't know, I call up my 師姐 who is quite fluent (she studied Fr at Alliance Francaise for some time), and ask her to teach piglet over the phone.

Don't expect too much from the swimming pool.
1 double lesson (35min@lesson) during alternative weeks during warm weather only, incl changing in and out of swimsuit, shower. (1 week for girls, 1 week for boys during PE lesson.) Cannot really learn. And the chlorine smells awful ! :tongue:
Can take additional swimming lessons in school pool (ECA, outside school hours) upon payment of $$$.

All EMI schools should = good spoken Engl, more practice. Some Northerners as PTH Chinese teachers, others are local teachers who passed the govt exam I think.

The teachers are really quite good, v responsible, open-minded, not the traditional type of I-Am-Right. Can communicate and accept diff in ideas.

Piglet's 1st permanent tooth also = front lower tooth.
I had to take him to the dentist to have it pulled out, on 1st day of P1, = 6y7m, because the milk tooth was still standing v firm, while the perm tooth was already coming out.

His 6th milk tooth just fell off last Sat, while brushing his teeth.

Total = 4 pulled out by dentist ($100@), 2 came off by themselves.

Re : chair, Ikea = similar px to SPI ergonomic chair woh. No idea, haven't studied these yet.

A friend said she has some ORT books and Rainbow Fairy (this should be complete set) books to sell 2nd hand. She will sort out during Easter and let me know.
Will keep you informed what books are available and $$.

Actually I've bought a chair from 阿女老豆 just a month ago at $370, and its now almost damaged and the stand is not v stable and hurt Kv's toe!!!! The material of this Taiwan chair is really vvvvv poor. Don't recommend you guys to buy from them anymore........

Rachel had her 1st front tooth of lower jaw fallen off on 1 Jan and half of the permanent tooth is out already. Right now, the one next to the half permanet ones is shaking but this time I found she got the permanent tooth out at the back... may be to look for dentist ?

Buddies, any referral of caring dentist?

chair which can adjust height buy w/o wheel : u can take a look at one of the furniture shop which is close to HKCC. just a few more steps from HKCC to Tin Hau side.

OH, my son didn't even drop one milk teeth at this moment. He is nearly 7 yrs old la. Very stable for the milk teeth. But he sometimes said the teeth is painful but i try to test whether it can move. But it didn't. Last time the dentist said the drop of the milk teeth will depends of the different kids. If the milk teeth came out late then the audit teeth will also come out late.

Is the boy drop the milk teeth later than the girl. I saw my son's classmates, most of the girls drop their upper teeth but not the boys.
