For me, yes, cook millet just like congee. Soak less than 1hr is fine (sometimes I didnt soak) but must clean and they are quite dirty. Direct boiling 5min then turn slow fire for 1/2hr. Add pork 20min b4 serve and veg 5min b4 serve. I dont know how to measure water and millet portion, just judge by eye.
They absorb water abit less than rice. Hope it helps.

I wanted to come up to chat with you guys so badly but several things happened last few weeks......quite busy dealed with them:
First I want to terminate my helper earlier so I was busy interviewing new maid with agent. Then I've got the notification from my management saying that they want to talk to me regarding returning to fly........They asked me to sign a consent letter to protect themselves from being prosecuted by me ( basically means if there is anything happened, nothing to do with them!!) Of course I have another option if I really don't think that is a good idea, they offer me "Medical retirement" which I can get HKD 350,000 as compensation for the rest of my life......That is really a lot.......I told them the amount might be just good for my 2 years expenditure......
Finally I decide to sign so that means I will have to stand my maid for a longer time.....which needs a lot of patients, but then she ask to loan 10,000 from me........It really gives me headach........
Sorry to take up so much time from you guys to read all these rubbish.
Anyway, I am so glad and will try my best to be here as frequent as possible, thanks for all your greetings and support ..........

Yr situation is complicated but sounds good. So u wl still hire the old maid ? I dont think it's good idea to lend $$ to her. In fact, whenever she has financial pb, better terminate as early as possible.

I just bought very cheap and simple baby potty that put on adult toilet bowl. No fancy at all. Ching is willing to sit on it becos I prepare lots of toys, songs and books for her to stay over 1/2hr. When she gets used to it, she wl not cry. Be patient and make it fun.
Ching had a running nose on sat am. I gave her a cup of fresh orange juice and let her sleep for 2hrs. Then she recovered well and v went out in the pm plus whole day today. How amazing the Vit C works !
