Just want to share with you my happiness as my daughter Natasha will be summited to God through my church's 嬰孩奉獻禮 which coincidently held on this Sunday (i.e. the exact same day as her 2nd birthday).
The is what my hubby and I both regards as the most wonderful birthday present for her by our Father and by us.
Natasha has been growing up in a multi-language environment since baby. She now knows she should speaks in Fujien with my family; Mandarin with my hubby's family; English with the maid and Cantonese with friends and outsiders.
Though now that she is expressing herself more, she will mix languages in one sentence when she doesn't know them all.
It's great that you're also teaching Tsz Yuk these dialects. I'm sure she'll be much better than Tasha since her language ability is really really good and she has a strong background with Cantonese.
Keep up the good work. I'm sure it'll be fun seeing Tsz Yuk, Jasmine and Tasha communicate in Fujien one day.
