nkkcal: is it from morning to afternoon? so how to arrange the nap issue for the kids? any advice? we have the interview with kenville at 9:15am the coming sun.

yesterday was really very exciting for them. a 6-min short video taken, do you want the cd? taking some shots abt 4 boys playing in wingfung's bed, pretending to be the caterpillar, jumping on bed, "babytalk' among them etc. but i believe all dads that moment were also busy taking the snapshots and videos as well.
小麥子had nightmare last night and woke up 4 times! in one of his "talking dream", he said: dont' want, don't want, ...... when he woke up, i asked him what's inside his dream. he told me: "fighting for toys with wingfung loh !" 咁都得!?

Wing Fung also woke up 2 times last nite, my maid wanted to stop him crying (& not to wake up to find me !) and continue to sleep by asking him "你明天唔去拜山啦？“. Wing Fung answered "No". But when asking him "錦你唔去波波池啦？". He went to bed to sleep right away. 幾識計數 ! 唉！

About the video, my husband also took some...including those in the outdoor playground. May be we can view together next time to see whether they are duplicates.

My husband also said it was very funny for all 4 boys playing and chating on the bed.

I haven't fixed the time with babytang yet, will call her to finalize. But I guess we'd better have tricycle ride early morning, otherwise it will be very hot under the noon sunshine. Then picnic on the grass. For afternoon nap, normally I put Wing Fung to sleep on his stroller. Afternoon, we can go library, indoor playground or outdoor playground.

上星期五開始了3P course. 得益不少, 原來自己的一個回應, 微笑會是放縱孩子曳曳的幫凶之一.
當孩子曳時要採取完全忽略化, including smile, talk, explain. 耍待他

本來好想中途加入 , 同彥林 , 彥祖去跑草地呀 !

但可能要返奶奶到 ....

anyway , 我暫時唔打算同佢地去踏單車 ... 我驚我老公要踏"一家人坐" / 有埋簷縫 ..... 太辛勞啦 !

We also have to attend the kentville interview on sun, 9:15am. I think we will finish up with the interview quickly and then go directly to ma on shan.
To me, I am not nervous and no prep at all for the interview. as I am quite determined to stay on the original kinder (HKPS), so it's just a practice to us.
what time is your interview? maybe we will meet there!?
we missed the tv program last night again ! 唉，掛住

Recently I borrowed a parenting translated book in Library “我的三歲孩子” by Louise Bates Ames & Frances L. In fact, I read the previous one “我的兩歲孩子” early this year。 This helps me to understand why Wing Fung always made me so angry....然後我明白完全自己拿來，爲什麽要生小朋友 :-( ，有小朋友一定生氣！ They are naturally born to make Mommy busy and mad....

The first lesson is the introduction of 3P theory. We need to find out what are the factors that cause children misbehaviour. The problem sloving method will be teached in the second and third lesson.

Before the sloving method, we need to think about of our home environment and our attitude.
1) We need to ensure that children can explore the home enviornment in safe. Remove all the dangerous things, so they can play freely at home.
2) Don't give any wrong response to encourge their bad behaviour. Sometimes, they do the wrong things to get your attention. Don't talk to him, even eye contact, just ignore him until he cool down. All the family member including maid should keep this attitude. Tutor said most of the children will be cooled down in few minutes.
3) Don't set too high expectation for our children that is out of his age ability. Becase every children is unique and their development will have variation.
4) All the family member should have the same attitude towards children esp. grandpa/ grandma.
5) 不要有小朋友故意和自己敵對的想法

其實第一課是要家長反思.

I have the interview at 10:30 a.m. My friend told me that we need to wait at the outdoor playground for about an hours before the interview.

Remenber to bring one more cloth for 小麥子.
Kentvile is not my dream school as it has too much homework and handwriting. I just treat the interview as a play for Lam Lam to train up her shine behaviour towards stranger.

Did 小麥子 take an hour for dinner everyday? Did he walk away from table?

哩個年代, 做父母都真係要學 . 外國係唔係咁呢 ? 我見d 日本家庭, 安排子女就學 , 好似

無咁緊張 . 當然都有名校要爭啦 ! 佢地講得係好順其自然的感覺 . 唔通佢地認為大部份都係好學校 (唔駛爭 ) - ? 又可能佢地國家提供d 福利比國民好.

Sth wrong with my current cd+cassette player these 2 days. do you know how to duplicate from a cassette tape into a CD? any machine can do it ? b'coz some of our edu materials still in tape-form, but there is rarely any cassette+CD player nowadays. dilemma: if buy a new one, better as a mini multi-player (CD, CD rom, etc) . Really want to transform all the edu materials, eg. 機靈狗-開心小讀者 into CD forms (in case we can't play them out in future), any methods?

you're so kind to tell us abt the link for 父母學堂, as we have missed it last sunday. i will try watching with 小麥夫 tonight. (just in case: have you videotaped it ?)

the 3P course is fine. just takes time to practise the theories. more all-rounded than supernanny and more suitable to local familes. i strongly recommend to attend with husband/frequent caregiver. however, they don't allow maid to join. :cry:

2 more Q:
1. i like your "toilet stepper" very much. as the stool in our toilet is easily 'slipped away' and dangerous. where do you buy it from? jusco?
2. would you pls kindly PM the renovation man's tel no. to me? I would like to do some minor renovation work recently. Tks a lot.

My husband did not join the course with me. :-( :-( But I reported the major theory to him as he is the main factor that放縱琳琳曳曳.

He just watched "父母學堂",然後偷師學幾招用.

My 3P course tutor allowed me to bring my maid to sit at the back of the class in next lesson.

She can just listen but no right to discuss.

I'll be available on 19/11, 26/11, 3/12
