family tax benefit係由family assistance計算的, 不過在OZ, centrelink係有權知道所有人既income, 包括政府既補助payment, 所以佢地會知你有冇apply or receive family tax benefit, 而如果你apply成功, centrelink will send you a letter.
I haven't apply family tax benefit or health care card too as I have ask the accountant, she said no need to hurry, I can get back the "money" at the end of tax year, so I only apply the minimum"child care benefit" i.e. no need to provide proof or estimate of income.
係呀, 唔係個個人都有需要apply family tax benefit, family tax benefit只係小朋友既牛奶金, 數目唔會多, 好多人apply family tax benefit, 係因為可以more easier apply到health care card.
當然, 亦都唔係人人都需要用health care card, 如果身體係多病痛既, 有health care card就會好d, 因為買藥可以平差不多一半, 連睇牙醫都可以便宜好多.
每年到左 end of the financial year, 你自己or your accountant will need to fill in the Individual Tax Return form, Taxation office will calculate the tax your need to pay or can be returned.
