You know my tricky maid asked me when will release her last SUN night. Our conversation as followings:
Tricky maid: Mum, when will you release me?
Me: I don't know!
Tricky maid: You hate me, why don't you release me earlier?
Me: Even I hate you, I also can keep you! So what?
Tricky maid: If you release me, can you paid me in cash rather than buy me a air ticket? Cos' I got a round trip ticket already.
Me: Absolutly not. I prefer to give you an air ticket.
Tricky maid: I prefer money!!!!!
Me: I said no! Understand!
After 15 mins..
Me: If you want I paid you in cash, you need to sign a termination letter with 1 month notice in advance. And, the effective date will be traced back to 24 Oct, OK?
Tricky maid: Finally, said OK!
Me: So how much for the air ticket?
Tricky maid: Around $1,000 something!
Me: Wow! It's really expensive. I asked the travel agent already, just $600 for fix date ticket & $1,000 for open day ticket. And, I just can offer you $700.
Tricky maid: Ok! Deal!
Me: You will back to Philipinese!
Tricky maid: Of course, mum! I miss my family very very much with a sad face!
Then, I prepared all document yesterday in black & white & signed last night!
When she go through the termination letter, her eyes turn red & said to me.
Tricky maid: Mum! You wirte like that, how can I get another employer? (The resign reason is: Communication Problem on both sides!)
Me: Hey! It's the best that I can do! I havn't mention you don't follow my instruction, you can't take care my 2 yrs old boy. So..... what do you expect I said? And, I havn't mention you were full of lie. You said you will back to Philipinese, how come you find another employer?
Anyway, she signed all documents finally!
