After studying the Developmental Report of my daughter, shocked to know the results. This is what we never expected.
The result is made by the class teacher’s own judgement and comments,
However, from the previous communication & handbook so far, We were not
addressed for this problem & discussed about how to help my daughter to improve her weakness during her learning at the school. .
According to the Report , after 2 years studying at the school, now she is graded as “Making Progress” in vocabulary related to colours, shapes & sizes, reading letters of the alphabet and writing letters correctly. Especially the letters of alphabet, she can exactly recognize all the alphabets, but your comments said that alphabet includes phonics. I think the Report isn’t detailed & specified. Other people may confuse that my daughter can’t even recognize the alphabet but not phonics.
We don’t think this Report can help my daughter to improve herself.
as a teacher, the better way should be more communication with the parents to help the kid . she just like a blank paper at this age , we both should to give her attention when needed. Not just give her impropriated comments and leave her along. We need the solution and teather’s suggestions for how to improve.
This Report will definitely affect my daughter’s impression in next year when she has the interview with primary schools. As the parent, it is difficult for us to explain fully with this Report which I can not agree with. And we would like to review with the teacher for this issue and we do need a re-evaluation with the reason mentioned above.
Don't be nervous! Now comes! It is very kind of you to adopt appropriate teaching method so that my children's academic performance has a big leap in the recent months.
Under your tranining, my daughter told me that they have learnt a lot of knowledge from the books. The said that to school is very interesting and the teachers are vey nice. I have great pleasure that my girl is very eager to do her homework.
I hope she can keep their learning attitude until graduation. Thanks in advance for your proper education.
