我剛剛同 Fion & nn 講完電話, 佢地兩個對 flash card 都有唔同意見, 我自己都有 d 矛盾, 講俾你地聽, 睇下你地有咩意見先

Fion 剛剛同一個bk mom 傾完, 個媽咪就話唔需要 print card, 自己用 printer 印仲好
1. 唔駛儲存張咭
2. 只係閃幾次, 唔好浪費
3. 佢囡囡歲幾, 都係用A4 閃, 沒有問題, 佢覺得用 flash card 真係有用, 佢囡囡已經真係認到字 (佢囡囡由4個月開始 play)
4. 因為 BB 學 d 字會越來越多, 你要用好多 $$ 來印, 而且要儲存

nn 既意見就係印咭好
1. 唔係只係閃幾次, 因為將來會用番黎 remind BB 記憶
2. 咭可以俾 BB 拿黎 read, 唔會整親佢
3. 咭大細係 according to the guideline, A4 size 唔係, 同自己印既大細會有出入

各位點睇 ??

nn, thanks. Isaac is getting better as my mom said the 疹 was getting less comparing with yesterday's condition. Also, he could drink 4-5 oz milk per meal. It is improving...Hope he will recover soon and has energy to join the gathering.

But, after such 大病, he likes to stick with adults. 好嗔 and 癡身. My mon said this was normal for baby after sick. It has pros

and cons :-( la

你係GC 買只係 dot dot card ?? 如果只係 dot dot card , 沒有數目字, 咁咪 $280 / 108 = $2.59@

如果order printing, 係計數目字 total 210 張咭, total $315.00

Sorry, canny, I don't have my own comments as I haven't started yet, what I told you just now are all I read from the books from Glenn Doman and the commets from BK mums (you can check all the pages of that flashcard topic)... I don't want to mislead you mums that which is the best way, I just want to point out that if you alter the size of the cards, this is highly NOT recommended by Glenn Doman as the size is a critical factor from his years of experiences. I'd suggest you to read the books and understand the theory in depth, talking to different mums will definitely get different opinions as we are all individuals.

Also, I am thinking and making some safety prevention procedures as now the baby likes to "walk" around the flat. Such as lower down his cot.

Just been back from an educational toys + materials company called 'Stepping Stones'... comments are as follows:

1. bigger than kiss the kids.
2. convenient location (Causeway Bay)
3. Price... normal price similar to the discounted price in kiss the kids... (Reasonable gua?)
4. Sales are nice.
5. Many different materials... of coz much much smaller than Toy's rus la...

My opinions (Just started for one week only)

1. bigger cards + letters... better for bb...yes, I agree not only that size of card (22" x 6" cards can give such effect) but by printing bigger words can let bb to read more easily.

2. Many words to print... well, depends on your target... I think for Joshua, I'll use cards to teach him those basic words like rattle, bib, stroller... and not those difficult words... I think 200-300 is enough for him... so, not too bulky for me...

3. waste... well, in Doman's theory, we need to use those retired words again and again so as to strengthen his right brain's memory... so the no. of times you will use depend on your plan loh!

These are all my own opinions only.
