無呀,咪比大人食物比亞仔食呀..其實我有時諗我會唔會太保護佢既stomach 呢?
不過,mini-matt 唔係咁鍾意食puffs 呀,佢初初都會開口比我餵佢食,跟住佢會吐番出嚟,或者用隻手"了"番出嚟.依家即頭唔開口tim 呀..如果放係佢面前,佢都會拿起玩,但係就唔肯食囉..激屎我啦...
依家mini-matt 好鍾意係個crib 度跳, 又搖床, 真係驚佢會整爛個crib,跌佢落地下呀...
其實我想去多次德國呀,好靚..前日先同我個朋友,佢細佬結婚(我都識), 佢由德國返香港留一個月..我都同佢呻,睇怕有排都唔駛去探佢囉...

We went to a fair this Sunday. There were so many people. I could see a lot of strollers, US people like to born baby, not like Hong Kong’s.

I always feed my son with 白飯魚 since you told me to.
When will the babies change to eat stage3 food? I still buy a lot of stage2 food. My son had only 4 teeth. My son always uses his tongue to “lam” sofa, playpen or my arms.
Whalebb, your keep fit plan sounds very successful, congratulations!!!!
I want to go to Japan too, for I love sushi and sashimi very much.

Little fat man,
I cook congee for my son too. He loves congee than Gerber baby food. I also bought a slow cooker, for I don’t want to stand by before the fire and stir the congee. I will soak the rice before cooking about one night or several hours. Then I will put the rice into the slow cooker. I will cook other ingredients (e.g. vegetables, chicken) by myself and will use the blender to puree them. Finally, I will add the done rice into the puree and stir them together.

yes ar....i need to take care of my 2 monkies 24/7 days a week, very tired sometimes but things are worth when I see 2 of them can play so well together. You're so good can go shopping with your sisters, I went to LA a couple times and I like to go to South Coast Plaza for shopping, they just have all the brands you need, how good! I usually go Nine Wests, Macys or Nordstroms for shoes, have you looked at the summer hottest trend wedge heel sandals? I'm going to HK in July so probably i'll hold it until I go to HK and shop a enough

How old is your son? My girl is 7 months old. She's not chubby la, I guess she is a little over 18lbs now. She doesn't like milk since 3 months old, really don't know why she hates the bottles so much, now i feed her 3-4 times milk a day but 2 out of 4 times i'll use a spoon for feeding and I found it works better for both of us, at least less battle scene

She would only use the bottle when she's sleeping only. So do you make congee everyday? I'll make it every other day so she'll have 1 time congee and 1 time cereal w/ baby food.

the ped prescribled the fluoride for my little one, I'm not sure if it is the same as yours.. 3rd stage BB food comes in a 6 oz jar..Seems like your little girl eats more than mine.
That's so funny ,you feed her with a spoon..

..It must take a long time... By the way, I don't know why my little one doesn't drink too much either, most the time he just drinks 3 oz milk..What's your feeding schedule ?
I envy you're going back to HK in July.. I wish I could do it once a year.. :-( ...
I look so horrible because of my tummy fat.. My friend told me that I look like C9 now.. :tongue:

One of churches in Long Beach is having a carnival this weekend..Unfortunately, my husband is going to San Diego for 4 days 3 nights, so we can't go ..
Thanks for your suggestion..Maybe I will try to make congee next week...
My friend just went back to HK from Japan..He sent me a cd rom with the pictures.. My husband and I like the manhole covers in Japan. :mrgreen:

I agree most US couples like to born babies...some of my ex-coworkers have 3-4 kids. In HK, some couple wants no baby or just 1 (like me...hehehe). How was the fair? I want to take Natalie to the LA County Fair this October...hopefully it won't be too crowded

I also envy you for going to HK so soon...I won't go until Oct/Nov. I love to go to south coast for shopping too becuz their tax is lower (7.5 compared to 8.25 in LA). They have a good variety of brandnames and department stores. Do you like to cross the bridge and go to the Home Decor side...I love to go to Crate and Barrel

It's really yummy and I think they sell them in NY too. About the "home spending money", I came up with an amount for my husband before I quitted my job. If he couldn't provide that amount, I would have kept on working. I cannot stand asking him for money everytime I spend. I also think it's very important to have privacy on the amount of money I have (c-gay)...

I'm okay for a gathering on Sundays...do we include our hubbies too?! Thanks for finding the photo on the wu-c for babygigi, I don't think I can explain it any better. The school system in US is like this:

Kindergarten - 6th grade (Elementary School)
7th - 8th grade (Junior High)
9th - 12th grade (High School)
Anything above is Junior College or 4 Year University

Little Fat Man,

Natalie loves her puffs. I bought 3 different flavors and mixed them together...she likes all of them. Her ped. said she is ready for all types of food as long as they are soft and no chance of choking. When we go dim sum, I would give her some congee, bau, and chon fun. I just give her a little taste of what I'm eating everytime we eat out. She's not a picky eater so she loves to try her mommy's food. Natalie likes to play in her crib too...one time she actually started crying when I took her out too soon. Sometimes she gets too excited and hits the rail/headboard. I saw the fisher-px learning table at Target yesterday...we purchased it for $33, I'm going to see if she enjoys playing with it...if not, I will exchange for some else. So what do you think about a gathering in your area? Is there any local restaurants that are baby friendly or do you want us to bring potluck to your house.

About the home spending $$, my husband did not set an amount aside for me. When I was not working last year, he asked me to buy stuff from his credit card, and take cash from his debit card if needed. But I guess I should ask him for some home spending $$ if I become a stay home mom again. That way he will not be able to monitor my spending

You have to take more rest and take medicine suggested by doctor. I got cold twice during my pregnancy and I took medicine.

I took ESL exam in College. It was very easy. Your English is better than me, so it will be very easy for you to take the test, don’t worry. They just want to make sure which standard you have reached. They want to earn money, so they will not reject consumers.

My son is almost 11mons. He is about 21 lbs. Your daughter has a good size. My son hates milk or formula too. He drinks milk when he is sleeping. He drinks milk three times a day, each time about 7oz. 前一陣子, 他連睡覺時都唔飲奶, 我唯有把三次變為六次, 每次只喂100ml. 幸好這段時間只維持了兩個星期。現在, 我把奶孔開大了一些, 他肯醒著飲, 但就要唱歌給他听。我現在常唱大長今主題曲給他听。小朋友的脾性常改變，有時飲得好些, 有時差些。所以媽媽一定要好有耐性。其實, 他始終喜歡飲水多過飲奶。
我想問你會如何dilute juice? I bought 24 jars juice to him, but he doesn’t like them.
我兩三天煮一次粥。阿仔要食隔夜粥, 通常食兩天或兩天半, 他由小食到大, 腸胃沒有被驕縱到。他出街才食Gerber or Beechnut 的baby food, 平時在家他不喜歡食。

( whalebb, Natmama, Little Fat Man, shiba-Inu, are you ok the first weekend in June, isn't early, sorry sorry... ) It is because we will move during June, and my father will come here to visit us after we move, so I have rush time to unpack all my stuffs. I wish my father enjoy his vacation in my place, he will stay here a month. This is his first time to see his grand-daughter. ( my girl )

About the ESL, I took this class in college and Adult school before. They all had a test, but it is easy. They just want to know what level do you have. I believe you must a good english, because you had an education in HK. You speak english every day with your hubby. I tell you, my english is bad and I can pass. So, don't worry and Add Gas! Stand by you !!! :-P

I do think we walk the pier together and enjoy the ocean view. In my area, my husband, bb and me almost went to beach every weekend. My bb loves to play the sand and surf. :-P

Is your son drinking any formula or breastmilk? Here's my girl feeding schedule:
7am - 5-6oz formula
10am - 5-6oz formula
1pm - congee
4pm - 5-6 oz formula
630pm - cereal + baby food
845pm - 4oz formula
(If we go out at weekend, she'll skip 1 milk)
I'll feed her like 少食多餐 cos she doesn't like milk from the bottles and she can't drink more than 6oz in one go. I need to use a spoon to feed milk when she's awake, otherwise there is no luck to make her drink. It'll take about 15 mins for feeding from a spoon, not too bad la. I'll be happy enough if her total intake is within 20-22oz, if more than this, I'll need to 燒炮杖慶祝, i envy some babies can drink up to 25oz in a day. How about your son?

No need to envy me la...you're also going to HK in Oct. The weather in Oct should be nicer (less humid) than in the summer time. As my son is going to school, I can only go in summer now. Yes, last time I went to South Coast Plaza and cross over the bridge to see more stores, I went to Paul Frank and Miss Sixty, now you remind me cos I bought a Miss Sixty jeans but I only wear it for a 2 times and not long I got pregnant, poor me I still couldn't wear it now :-(

I won't have any problem getting together on the first weekend of June. I checked the calendar and the first Sunday in June is June 5th. Is that okay with everyone? If we don't have to meet in Long Beach, how about Monterey Park area. There are more selections of Chinese Restaurants.

I think it's better to have a set amount of spending money so your hubby can have a clear budget. My hubby also tells me to use his credit card if I need more or if I need to get something expensive....I haven't had to do that yet :-P :-P :-P ...don't want to scare him.

...I never thought about yoga during the pregnancy. I watched some information about it on TV before. Sometimes I feel amazing, the pregnant women can do it ..

(Sigh) mini-matt hates puffs , he doesn't even open the month when I feed him, he just pushes my hand away and gives me a dirty look..Hopefully, he's not a picky eater..Seems like he wastes my money again..

I'll guess most restaurants are baby friendly , but I don't think the restaurants around me would like the customers with 4 kids because the tables are pretty close to each other.

How's the Fisher-px learning table doing? Actually, I wanted to buy it in the first place, but I couldn't see it at Walmart, so I bought the learning home instead.. Maybe I can buy the learning home at target if they're in stock...
June 5th is ok with me too.

..But my brother will come with me instead of my husband , is that ok ?

mini-matt started babbling and using more consonants , like " ma ma", " da da", " daddy", "bah bah" . When he's hungry or needs me , he will keep saying " ma ma" or "mom, mom"...what about your lovely son ?
I bought the big jar of apple juice by Gerber. I will dilute one part juice to one part water..

thanks for your feeding schedule. I'm trying to feed him " small amount many times a day " too and I made the hole of the bottle's nipple bigger, seems like it works for him.

.. Now I'm still breastfeeding him, unfortunately, my milk is not as much as in the beginning , I supplement breastfeedings with formula every time..Did you try to breastfeed your little girl ?
