My son vomitted 5 times within 3.5 hours on Thursday night, I then immediately brought him to Baptist Hospital for injection. He had poopoo (in water) 7 times yesterday :cry:
Luckily his fever has stopped today but poopoo (in water) remains unchanged :cry:
So it's a severe case already for first flareup. :cry:
I can only tell you my experience. My son had a sudden flareup for the first time this May after he ate some spicy food. We took him to the doctor and he has been on preventive spray since then. He had one minor flareup 2 weeks later then a serious one this July. He was hospitalized for 3 days. Since then he was on preventive spray 3 times a day. Before then I got our maid to do it but now I am doing at least 2 sprays a day. He has no flareup since then.
What I do now is make sure he is warm and all bundled up. Turtle neck is a must. I watch my maid when she baths him in the morning before I go to work. I also dumped all curtains and the uphosltry couch. Air purifier, heater, humidifier when needed.
We tried Chinese herbalist but he ended up having a severe attack while having the herbal medicine. We don't know whether it's related but we have stopped it already.
We are not giving him any other supplement except for vitamin C daily and crocodile soup weekly.
