From past experience, some student will speak in Eng and some in PTH for acknowlegement too.

Just known Hxrmxn will be one of them.

Kv has been joining their eng class since Dec last year. I found they are quite good, esp I like the arrangement of 2 teachers (1 chin and 1 gwai-lo) attending lesson at the same time.

as you mention before, your son learning Kumon Chinese, my son try their promotion - free lesson for 2 weeks. i'm consider to let him learn or not. What do you feel about Kumon, can learn PTH and Pinyin, as they said they are not mainly learning PTH but learning how to read the passage of Chinese etc.
i felt they are quite strict for some aspects. listen and do the worksheets everyday etc. i'm afraid my son cannot follow their schedule, if he can't , then = waste money.

any recommendation of the PTH CD/book like 青田-我自己會讀系列, i just thinking about if i buy the similar materials like 童谣 from dangdang and let him listen and read everyday, then can get the same result.more freedom and don't need to go to the ctr. of course, this is for early stage only

anyone would like to order the products from dangdang, i think i will order soon.

Tks for your info. Yes, i remember this set, I remember Gloria mentioned previously. You bought it, is it good. i have checked with dangdang and it is out of stock la. price is around $200+. Do you know how much is the HK version.

it is really similar to the set of Greenfield.

Which sets is better ?

I think the set from BC costs around HK$3xx. It contains 36 books and CDs. I have not got the set from GF but have the chance to borrow the Green, Blue, Purple books from library --->almost the same. You can try to borrow the BC books from Library and I can let you have a copy of the CDs if you want.

Rachel somehow has picked up one of her drawing class magazine from her bookshelf tonight and found Kv and your picture inside. Oh ...our kids are schoolmates at age 4.5, not too sure if Kv is still attending their drawing class or not ?-(

yes, i have the purple set of Greenfield and saw library has almost the whole set at different colour of Greenfield's books.

If library has the betterChinese's book, i better borrow first and view the content. It is quite good for the beginner to learn the PTH for this series.

Both BC & GF books are available at Central Library and Happy Valley Public Library. You can take a look at the contents and compare, if you need the CDs of BC, I can copy one for you.

Also, if you cannot borrow the books, you can either login in and register at the BC website and you can view the books and try on some chapters also. (free) but just for a week time.

The Drawing center is "AxxxxxKxxxx Studio" at SaiYingPun / Wanchai. There's a picture of Kv and you on the 2nd page of the magazine and 3 drawings of Kv inside the magazine.

Kv had quit AKS la. He learns at Drawgraphy (Kennedy Town) now.

Rachel has attended the drawing class at AKS for 1.5 years and quit last Sep since she needs to attend the Sunday School on Saturday pm. That's the reason we have participated in the exhibition and have the magazine. We are thinking to rejoin AKS class since their class size is ideal not like some of the class has 10+ students in a class.

We'll have the trial class at the CWB Eng. Center coming Sat... see if Rachel & Kv will have the chance again to be the schoolmates definitely not classmates.Btw, just curious if u would know if the english center is an office during weekdays and lease out on Sat & Sun for class??

I intend to buy a 7 schoolbag for piglet this year too.
The SPI is really sooooo heavy, even for piglet's size. And also some parts broken after 1.x years' use, but still quite new on the outside.

Ramomo, are there only 2 buckles on the schoolbag ? Any zips ? And any partitions inside ?
And what are the measurements of an S size schoolbag ? Or should I buy an M size ?

Whenever I ask piglet, he says he wants a Ferrari schoolbag !

Need to tell him that 7 schoolbags are cousins of Ferrari schoolbags.

7 schoolbags have got size S or L no medium. All the new arrivals are in L size only, only few last year stocks on S size (red color) are items at TST and CWB shops.

They have 2 buckles in the front, simple to manage. There're 2 partitions inside and one more buckle for fixing all the big books which is close to our back. There's a air bag at the back of the school bag. Very light. There is pocket with zipper in the front for handbooks, stationary and 2 zippers at the side to extend the width of the school bag if necessary. Also, there is a place for water bottle/umbrella, either you can leave it out or keep it inside the school bag.

I learnt from other BK mums that they can be used for more than 3 years, machine washable.

Also, you can definitely let piglet know that the 7 schoolbag is the cousins of Ferrari, 好型

S size for P1, 2 and L size for P3 and above.
