I am paying approx $1k a month. She works 5 1/4 per week. The quarter part is she must finish cleaning/vacum the floor on Saturday morning prior leaving my home. Unlike HK, we don't have to pay for her air ticket and even if we terminate her contract. You do have to pay for the WSB (insurance). I can claim the childcare tax just like any nanny business.
oh I have seen this store in Calgary. Look very attractive. I think the bear itself isn't that expensive, but the accessories (outfit, shoes, hats) are quite costly....
yes, me too. we had dept lunch on Monday, pot luck lunch for the whole ofice on Tue, rest for Wed, and x'mas cheer yesterday, and today.... staff bring all self baked cookies, chocolates over... so full... any recipe to loose weight???

This year, I am so busy at work because of short staff during the holiday... so I don't feel like Christmas at all... Oh can't believe tomorrow is already Christmas Eve. Any special celebration? I am going to sing the Christmas choir. :O

25th x'mas party at church gathering tomorrow night.

Oscar, I saw this movie (the last sumurai) too.. I don't think Tom cruise "act" good in the movie, but I like the Japanese guy who act as the master of the King... he is really good

GAP is on sale. I bought clothes for my girls, e.g. down jacket $40 (orig $180) . Six winter's items, at $200 (tax included). Five for my elder girl and one for my younger one. Some jackets even at $20. I have nothing for myself as usual, :-( :-( .
I used to live in Toronto a few years back and I moved back to HK. I usually visit Toronto every year as my mother-in-law is still living there. Just miss the quiet and relaxing life in Canada so much...
How old are your kids? Mine is turning one next month. I'm thinking of sending him back to Canada to study sometime but don't know when is a good time. I hope he can learn more Chinese in HK first. Do you let your kids learn Chinese in Toronto?
