Time goes fast! Today is my bb 2nd birthday! Last night we all slept very late ( after 1:30am ) My bb was very excited play her b-gift and balloon. We had a b-party in my friend's house yesterday. I was happy yesterday until this morning and wish going on. I am happy cause thanks my friend and her kids with us to celebrate together. I have only one HK friend in here and we rare to meet. ( but phone call almost every day ) And my friend just move house and they like the gift I gave to them. I feel so warm!

我係香港大, 去sydney讀英文(唉!細時讀加拿大分校, 英文就ok... 但俾9年免費教育嘅"改良"之後...要讀10 weeks英文), 姑姐同家人住Sydney, 自己之後落melbourne讀大學同打工, 半路中途殺出隻肥bearbear老公, 佢係美國公民, 俾佢用"優之良品"呃咗我嚟美國,初初嚟時真係好慘, 而家settle down, 都ok 喇
我係K3 visa, 公民申請spouse 嘅visa (i-130 pending)入境... 入境之後出i-130, 再用i-485轉身份, 手揸social secuity number, 同工作許可證...已好方便...

My bb is always say " daddy" " row row" more than say "mommy" but this situration is change. When bb ready, they will call you "mommy" more. ha.. I am a live example " now my bb say " mommy " to me every day la. ( sweet ... ) I believe your bb same, just patient to wait..... :-P

You find a babysitter to your bb. I agree meeemeee's opinion. If the babysitter has other bb or toddler, the care your son rate is less. 1:3 is hard. Do you compare others? On the other word, if the babysitter has much "love heart" and make sure her experience is "good"!

I think the AC will be on everyday now. Natalie cannot fall asleep without it. I can feel the sweat in her neck after she drinks milk and she gets really cranky. It's good you have a ceiling fan, maybe better for the electricity bill :-P :-P :-P Regarding the babysitter, have you thought of putting Alex in a daycare. I think the ratio of adult:baby is about 1:3...same as your babysitter now. The good thing with daycare is it's monitored and regulated by the government so they have a standard of cleaniness and child safety. With the description you gave, I'm not sure if you want to let Alex go to this sitter. With the 2 toddlers around, Alex can be vulnerable becuz he's still very little compared to them. I'm not as concern with the licking of toys becuz he will do that regardless. :tongue: :tongue: :tongue:

I know BK is so hard to load sometimes, that's why I always try to reply in the US day time so all the HKnese are asleep. I think Natalie still needs her 2 naps, but the time between naps are just growing longer. She used to need a nap after 3 hrs of awake time, now she can hold it until 4 hrs. I found some information online that said babies will grow out of their 2nd nap between 13-18 months.

各位靚媽有無hay fever problem, 我覺得今年特別辛苦, blocking nose and itchy eyes ALL DAY LONG, especially this month, the allergy also bother my son, itchy eyes make him feel so bad又紅又腫成日摔,tomorrow i'm going to bring him to the doctor for some eye drops.

hello, are you hoping a baby boy this time? Don't worry of not gaining much weight as long as the size of the baby is fine. Do you have any morning sickness? I had terrible morning sickness when I was pregnant with my girl, got suffer until the 5th month. I lost about 5-6 lbs at the begining but after i can eat again, my weight just jump up quickly and ended up put on 34lbs, I think the hardest part for me is to get rid of the fat more than anything now.

Kurt is so handsome :lol: :lol: :lol: I know it's very diffcult at the beginning...but trust me...it does get a little easier as the baby gets older. Do you plan on taking care of him full-time

What kind of solid food do you feed your daughter

My girl is almost 10 months and I noticed since I started giving her some of my food, she doesn't like her bb food / rice cereal as much. She seems to enjoy the adult food with more flavors. She's okay with drinking milk...she can consume three - 8 oz. bottle per day.

Nillie,

I believe there are some bedding sets that are made for people with allergy. The fabric does not collect dust. If you ask any allergy doctor, they can probably tell you where to buy it. I don't have the brochure anymore

You can also try keeping the humidifier ON when you're at home.

我都想知有咩辦法會令自己無咁辛苦, 屋企己長開humidifier , 睡房就開ionic breeze, 另日日食葯打底但已經無咩作用,我食Clartin, 有無其他med仲會work d? last nite個nose勁塞, 不停包雲吞,最慘係自己都唔知自己有無訓過覺既feeling, 起身時會頭雲眼花, so bad :cry:
另外,知道你係nurse, 想請教bb幾多個月大開始可以食yorgurt/cheese? 我個囡7.5 months, 唔like drink milk, 見到yo baby隻yogurt想買比佢食, 其實around her age 要drink幾多先足夠呢?

It's good that your girl is okay with drinking milk, did you cook congee for your girl? I cook congee for my girl so she'll have congee for lunch and rice cereal with bb food for dinner. I put meat/chicken/fish/egg yolk + some veggies to make congee. What kinda adults food you're giving her? I only tried bb snack and bread. Of course they like adults food la cos it tastes better. My girl also 流口水 when she sees me eat :) Maybe you can cook ABC pasta/mashed potato with minced pork for her, it's a little bit different from the taste of the bb food so she'll have more choices to eat.

After we keep the air fliter on all day long, my husband doesn't have stuffy nose, itchy eyes anymore..Maybe you should try it..(mini-matt always turns his own air filter off by himself )

Kurt is so adorable.. Do you have more pics of him ? I can understand it's pretty hard to take care of newborn bb, especially when you're a first-time mom. Did you figure out why he cries after drinking and changing ? Do you think he has gas ?

In this few days, I made the congee with trout for mini-matt, he hated it so much.. He shut his mouth, pushed my hand away and even tried to grab my spoon. I told my husband about it , he talked to mini-matt instantly, " I won't blame you.

..Chinese food ? :tongue: " 我真係又頂頂聲呀...
my little one won't slobber, he just bites his lip and keeps looking at us eating.

About the hay fever,there are certain brand of the allergy med. Allergra, Zertec, Clarintin, if one brand doesn't work try another one, also, you can use the nasal spray and they are perscribed by the doctor, besides that, keep the air purifier on, it should help a bit. This year, the allergy season seems longer and more serious too, just hang on there girl, it should be over in a month.... it is even worst on me, I can't take any med. :-( :-(

I am still hanging on there, just went for check up today, surprising me, I didn't gain any but on the other hand I lost 2lbs.

I'll rest more and hopefully the baby won't come out too soon, cuz I want to have a little bigger size baby, approx. 7lbs. will be the ideal weight for me. :lol:

we bought the 300 thread count bedding, and change almost every week, also I let sun shine into my bedroom everyday... which shine directly to my bed.. also, we got the Shaper Image Ionic Breeze GP in living room and bedroom.. cold mist humitifier in Amanda's home and dinning room.. wet cloths to clean the dust daily.. Fat bear bear hubby cleans the front yard daily... I am dying..... woo woo woo :-( :-( :-(

I tired all medications which you did mention... every of those tried at least 3 months.. but none of those works at all.... I tried the nasal spray, but that irritate my nose a lot, I can't breathe today.. very badly.. :-( :-( :-( ... really... last whole night.. I don't know how long did I sleep.. or I didn't sleep at all.... my head was banging all day long... I can tell how bad you feel.... as when I was pregnant with Amanda...same thing
