I was so stupid..... I felt uncomfortable after wearing contact lens this morning. I changed two new pairs of lens (I'm using disposable lens) and finally, I realized I forgot to take off the lens last night and worn doubled lens

About 10+ years ago, my colleague in the office asked me "secretly" to go to toilet with her... I didn't know what's happened and followed her, then, when we arrived the toilet, she asked me to help her to find her contact lens, she lost it, I started to look around on the sinks and the floor, but she stopped me, she said, "they are here..." and pointed to her eyes... she said she lost the lens which were still inside her eyes... I immediately felt dizzy and some stars flying by my head...

, I said I was even more "scared" than her... then, she kept on searching by herself, and found them behind her eyeballs, i.e. swapped to near the back of her eyeballs..............................

... and now I won't wear contact lens anymore laaa... beforehand...I also wear disposable lens ga.... :mrgreen:

as I fully understand I'm not a lucky mum like nn... who has a good maid at home... sooo... even one maid at home... also have many troubles ga...

like now:

I find my maid:
1. always forget this, this and this... everytime, everyday...
2. she must say 'yes, tai tai... sorry tai tai'... but repeat her wrongdoings...
3. few days ago I was sooooo angry with her because:

Joshua caught coughing at school (transmitted virus from another classmate in class)... and u know, the temp dropped abit at midnight few days ago right... my maid (she hasn't carried her brain to work!!!)... still switch on the fan (luckily not the A/C) and put it directly towards him... Ohhhhh... so you can imagine what had happened on the next day... more cough... and more sick...

and so I told her no need to swithc on the fan for cool weather laa... and she asked me 'tai tai, shall I not to switch on the fan anymore in future?'...

and also at first she can differentiate this towel is for cleaning bb's things, this towel is for bb's bathing... etc... but now... suddenly all things forgotten and use one 'single' multi-use cloth to clean bb's toys/ bb's pat pat/ face... etc...

I told her not to do this ga... but her answer is 'yes tai tai...' and repeat it agian in the next second!!!

If you were me, what will u do???

I had similar experience of your friend as well..... my contact lens fold into 1/4 when I finally got it out from my eye

Believe me, you're not the only unlucky one ......
(1) last time when HH is having a fever, I found both the fan and the air-con are on.... my maid didn't realize HH was having a fever and turn on the fan in order to cool him down

(2) like yours, she also could not remember the sue of different tools/towels etc.... we have to change all our towel/tools into different color for different purpose and keep on doing revision with her......
(3) she always forgot thing, e.g. seal the packing of the food after using, not check for the shortage of supply or expiry of the food, leaving some food in the microwave overnight etc. ..... at last, I told her that I'll deduct her salary if her act results in any wastage of food.... then the situation improved a bit

and many many more

my hubby said I should lower my demand as the maid is at least good to HH.... but I always worry that HH will be hurt one day due to her carelessness and brainless.......What I'm doing now is tolerate, tolerate and tolerate

About maid, I want to 呻呻 too.

Suppose my maid are not married and of course has no kids, but today my hubby told me that the maid told my 99 that she had 3 kids in age of 6, 4, and 3. This is >< with her working experience. Her CV wrote that she just finished 2 contracts (4 years)with her ex-employer and never be back to Phillipines during this 4 years. How come she had 3 kids with the smallest one in age 3??? ?-( I wished that this is a communication mistake between her and my 99. Because I cann't believe she has 3 kids and don't seem to have experience to take care of babies and household jobs (Last week I found her reheat leftover food with a metal dish..

)

Since she hasn't been back to her home for 4 years, we agreed to let her go back in Dec. If she is married, I am afraid that she will have her 4th baby during her vacation.

What can I do? Actually, my ex-maid was very good and could take good care of Isaac. Because she could not get along with my 99 & 62, we hadn't renew her contract. I really want to get my ex-maid back (she went to back to Phil already because cannot find a new employer). Headache..headache....

My helper is like that too....... Just don't want to retrieve those bad memories.......

Most maids are like ours......., except nn's *sigh*

But we still need them...... in our place. So tolerate, train, tolerate, train, etc, etc...

Joshua hasn't gone to school today... coz having infected by his classmate few weeks ago on coughing... he hasn't recovered yet...

I've brought him to his doctor but the drugs are not okay for him this time and so I brought him to another paedi doctor lor... and that doctor gave me 2 types of antibiotics ar...

arrr.... and the dosage is very high tim (one is Augmentin and the other is azithromycin)... and the doctor said we have to kill all the virus first otherwise the 'tam' in his lungs cannot remove wor...

so... although he can play well, sleep okay, eat well, no running nose, no fever... still now stay at home lor...

but we all find his temper become
