I\'m from sydney and there\'s heaps of people that wears ugg boots, but probably more for going out and you could wear them anywhere, even to bars and casinos, there\'s no policies saying that you can\'t.
You can buy those ugg slippers or shorter version of it wearing around the house but personally I don\'t coz in winter I\'ll turn on heater and we got carpets so it\'s warm enough. I do have to agree its not necessary to wear it in HK due to it doesn\'t get that cold compare to us here in OZ. I guess it\'s more of a trend that\'s why a lot of ppl are wearing them now..
