we always have 6 persons when we go out at weekend.. so we need our sienna..
to trade in Murano.. only worth for about $15000-18000.. so.. I don't want to trade in.. (I bought it with full load just without the netvigator--over $40,000)

我呢幾日都係度睇緊車呀,
依家我睇到HYUNDAI 既車有得減價,
仲減成1500蚊咁多添呀~
咁我尋日就SEND 左E-MAIL 去問下價,
我都有睇到08年 HYUNDAI ELANTRA SE
同埋09年HYUNDAI SONATA GLS,
唔知有無邊位姊妹揸過呢兩款車呢?
車既性能方面好唔好呀? 慳唔慳油咁呢?
有d人就話韓國車唔係幾"襟"用,話會好快壞喎~
有無人用過韓國車呢??
我另外都有睇到kia 既09年SPECTRA 5 WAGON,

a few years ago.. Korean made was really "not reliable".. but now, I bet that they had improve a lot.
However, i will not buy Korean made anyway.. because I would rather pay a little bit more to get a Japanese made.. like Toyota or Nissan.. those what I can trust!
that is true.. as they sale the 2009 model at middle of 2008.. so by now.. most of the 2008 should be sold.. otherwise, that company's products or those saleman should be very bad.. haha
you can even get better deal at every end of the month or big festival.. the closest festival will be July4.

Same opinion of Nillie. I would rather take a Japanese car rather than a Korean. Reason is the repair cost. Since Jap car is much popular and easy to find, the cost of repair plus the parts would be cheaper. I used to have a Toyota Tercel and both I and my husband loved it as it saved gas and ran real good. Too bad that it was crushed by one of our neighbors and it was totally lost. My hubby sort of wants to find another Tercel for me.

因為我既budget唔係咁多, 我唔想用太多錢係架車上面,

我諗我都係去下買餸, 湊下仔返學放學咁, 都唔會話去邊度遠地方,

我妹話我揸車水皮過咩野咁, 買貴車棧我一陣唔小心整到,

不過, 依家D韓國車又話有10年保養既, 而且D價錢好吸引下喎,
所以, 有D心郁郁去買囉~
我都有quote過toyota 既corolla 同 martix
嘩~佢地D車, 閒閒地加埋稅同D雜費,
無萬8至萬9都落唔到樓呀~
而且, 又無價減喎~
佢地依家減過D, 個個都話最後6月30號,
所以, 我又驚過左無得平, 都幾傷腦筋,
我妹就叫我平平地買住架黎揸住先,
咁遲D等我D技術好番D時, 先至諗下換過部好少少既喎~

我尋日問果個sales點解去親邊度都見honda & hyundai,
佢話honda既老闆買左hyundai, 所以兩家公司都係會一齊架喎~
佢都好老實咁話俾我知, honda 就係日本造,
而hyundai就係韓國造既, 不過, 因為近年大家同一個老闆,
所以, 佢話依家D質料同機器都有提升左咁話喎~

C啦, 我依家15 &16添, 咁買唔買佢好呢??

咁又係, 但maintance 貴就好麻煩..
揸車唔叻.. 我都唔叻, so, 我揸車更小心呢..
就因為揸車唔叻, 車嘅質數更緊要.. ABS, ski control, AWD.. 一定唔小得.. 因為一落大雪就大件事呢

你一個女人帶住兩個小朋友真係唔好買韓國車﹐因為要安全行頭。雖然話有10年保養﹐但幾個月一係呢度有問題一係果度有問題﹐架車要入廠﹐你都唔方便..
新車差2000蚊﹐你供的話一個月只差30蚊左右。你看過的COROLLA有免息貸款PROMOTION至今個月尾。同一款車有D係日本做有D係美國做﹐你記著問個SALESPERSON啊..日本做的料靚好多﹐RESELL時亦可高價少少
MATRIX的話他們可以做到平D的.. 簽文件要小心啊今次..
其實2手日本車都好可靠﹐呢10年8年既2手CAMRY/COROLLA都唔使點大整架..

NILLIE,
你屋企有地方泊車的話﹐留返架NISSAN私人賣好D呢..
HYBRID全美都唔夠貨﹐E+買都要最少3-6個月先有車到﹐SI果間賣緊OVER STICKER PRICE﹐你SHOP AROUND先稔去邊間買著數D啊..but not the BR one, they're very tricky..

If you don't need to trade it for another car or you have space to keep the car anyway... just keep the Murano :) But if you think you are not going to drive it much anyway, then you can sell it now, keep the money and buy another car later. :)

For the past few years, Korean cars have improve quite a bit. However, I still prefers Japanese cars more than Korean cars (maybe coz of the hype and re-sell value). I remeber almost a decade ago when I was doing reserch on buying cars, I saw the injury rating for the Korean cars have the black dots whereas other Japanese cars have red dots. Black -> death, Red -> injury... for the same kind of impact (accident). However, in recent years, Korean cars have been on the list for the safety test. You can google those.

P.S. Those on the list are SUV/Minivan that're over $20k. I am not sure your hard-stop budget now.

I drove my friend's Hyundai Accent 4 door sedan before. I also drove some Kia compact models when I was travel in another states (rental car). Their horse power is kinda weak compare to the car that I drive regularly. In general, it's ok for a lower-budget car. They have 10 year waranty and I think depends on your luck whether you need to keep bringing the car to the dealership for repair/check-up. If the price is simliar, I would pick a Japanese car like Toyota or Honda. If the price is signaficant higher (depends which models you are looking), I think a new Hyundai is fine compare to an old Japanese non-lux used car (that you don't know the owner and not sure if the used car is ok... though you can find some technician to check the car first... but still...).

If you buy a new car at the dealeship, remember to negotiate the price of the car first before answering whether you will finance/buy the car with cash. With you last time's experience, maybe you can have them to write down the negotiated price with which car model (with whatever option) so you have some written note from the sales person.
Also, how long you plan to keep the car? Korean cars' re-sell market is not as good as the Japanese cars in general. So this is one thing to keep in mind as well.

July 4 is coming. Most of the dealsership will have sales or special incentive for cars. You may check it out next weekend. Good luck. :)

我想請問你架 Sienna 係 FWD 定係 AWD? 請問你知唔知道兩者如果落雪天時渣既話有冇分別? 因為我想換架 family van, 我本身渣緊 Land Cruiser, 以前得我一個問題不大, 但宜家出街要帶埋囡囡我又細粒又唔夠高同力抬個 car sit 上落所以想換 van, 同埋最緊要落雪天都安全, 所以我諗緊 Sienna AWD 會唔會同 Land Cruiser 一樣? 之前喺 auto show 睇過裡面好闊落上落又方便感覺唔錯.

我都有諗過 Honda Odyssey, 但始終都係鐘情 toyota.

我自己知自己事.. 一個人兩袖清風, 冇乜所謂..
但有Amanda 之後, 我哋就喺Amanda 2個月大時換晒屋企嘅車做AWD, all wheel drive, 4輪帶動全方位驅動, 安全好多.. 再加ski control.. 因為new york一定落雪, 差在多小塲同塲雪甘唔甘
AWD係可以減少"seen"呔. 同可以喺大雪日子, 架車唔會因為雪太高而開唔到! ski control 係你揸break但太"冼" 架車4個呔會自己balance, 以防止白鴿轉.. if ok.. order it as well.
toyato sienna 家庭車, 我哋只揀7seats 冇要8seats (plus always拆走–邊slide door 張凳. also, 加咗電嘅 slide door, 自已take care 2 個小朋友上落車真係易好多. Toyota sienna option plan極多, 真係好好
我哋架sienna 冇要AWD+ski 因為係肥bear 老公用.. 我只會冇雪至用佢架車..(mostly因為同friend 去行街, 3個媽咪3個B, 個truck放3架strollers{combi or other unbrella stroller} 卓卓有(鱼)).
自己架Nissan Murando就full load. 有同冇AWD係好大分別 (因為以前冇買AWD車.. 我以前都係只揸FWD).
toyota sienna起步慢, take up 慢..要有心理準備啊..
