I'm ok with the food truck idea...but at the same time, i hope the Govt can reevaluate what HK already has and revive 車仔小販, with regulations in place to ensure food safety and public order. I bet this has a lower operating cost to people than renting/owning a food truck?
Yes, both can happen in parallel, food truck and 小販車仔. Regulations maybe different but i think if the Govt really wants to help people start their businesses, it's a good start. As long as food safety and hygiene can be monitored (reovke their licenses if they violate regulations), it's a win-win.
