europe tax ranges from 10 to 20 %， does that mean even no tax refund， they can still make money after shipment，delivery cost etc....also how to deliver back to asia ne? it is not cheap and i always cannot entrust courier.....

Hi all JM, I just want to share my experience with H hunting.
My first H was surprisingly a 35 gold B 5 years ago from Guam. At that time, I was only considering a 35 as I believe at those days, 35 was more popular. I went to the H shop there asking straightly if there was any B. She then asked what size and color. I then said gold/ light brown, 35. She replied there was no stock yet but they were expecting shipment and asked me to go back the next day. Next day I went there and shipment didnt come. So she asked me to leave my hotel contact phone number and she would call me if there is shipment. That would be my last day there so I didnt put too much hope. Then she really called me at last day and she got 2 B shipment- Gold and black. I couldnt buy the black as I asked for gold before. So I bought it, US$10320, 35 Gold B, and I didnt buy any other stuff.
Then I went to H in HK and requested a Lindy, and I got it 2 months later.
Then I became obsessed to more hot bag. I couldnt resist and wait, so I bought a 30 black B at reseller for HK$110,000.
Around the same time, friend of mine whose employer has a HQ in Europe (not Paris) asked me if I was interested to buy K or B. I definitely said yes. She said there should be a 35 B RJ available in 2 months time. Without any hesitation, I said yes. For sure, I didnt get any tax rebate and it cost around HK$80,000 with H receipt. Then you would realize that the HQ does have a connection with the H shop there, and they regularly brought back B or K for colleaques (Do you think that a normal traveller could have that opportunity?)
Despite the above, I was also buying other Lindy, GP and Victoria from HK H shop or KL Malaysia.
My latest hot bag is a 28K with GHW bought from reseller (copy of receipt received). Kinda nice bright color for $112,000.
Well, all I can say, as a personal opinion and feeling, is that you have to grab every opportunity (HK or while travelling) to try your luck, and you have to be patient.
For me, my collection is a mix of both shop and reseller but I don't think I can ever get a hot B or K from H shop in HK. I tried my luck last month in Paris and got back nothing except a wallet for 2200Euro, and some twillies.
Well, going there for B or K sometimes or most of the time, could be very disappointing. Every day going to 3 shops and get turned down, made me bad mood at dinner or sight seeing.
So if you are desperate, go to a reseller and choose the right size, right color and pay a premium. However you should only go to those reputable ones. There are ways to check the authenticity of a bag and you can look up the internet. Such as the 4 edges, stitch, leather quality, hardware etc.
If I spend decent money with SA and get an offer, that may not be the right size or right color. If you decline, the chance of getting 2nd offer will be very slim, and it seems you waste your previous efforts. There are other brands I like for other accessories and H may not be my first choice.
I got 8 H bags now and honestly, I only use those B or K less than 5 times each, so I started to ask myself should I hunt more.....
Anyway its a long write up here and I hope this doesnt bore you
