I think we should start thinking about the place/restaurant to go as this affects the no. of ppl we could invite for the party. Last time when I searched for the cafe, as Cafe Musical's min requirement for having the whole place is 80 ppl and max is 140 ppl, so, we needed to have at least 80 ppl enrolled and max for 140 ppl. If we want to find somewhere else, that restaurant may have different requirements on the no. of min and max ppl. Once we could conclude the choice of restaurant, we could (1) know how many ppl can join the party, (2) confirm the date/time by paying deposit to the restaurant, (3) pay the deposit and get the receipt for applying sponsorship, (4) know how much to collect from mums and start to collect money, (5) know the seating plan and floor plan, (6) know how we need to decorate and how to decorate, (7) know whether we have space for games and programs and we could start designing games and programs, (8) know whether we have a stage for MC, (9) know whether we could play background music or even play video, etc. So, I'd suggest first step is to look for choices of restaurant, understand their min/max ppl requirements, and charging fee for the food, time/date available, food/drink choices, whether they have car-parks nearby and private place/room for breast-feeding mums to BF during the party.
Last time, AJ suggested a place in Kowloon Bay, can AJ post the info again here for our ref?
