I saw that you are asking the application date for 時代. I am considering that one, too.
聖 'ar' 各褔群會 is also a good choice...so as St Paul nursery (not St. Paul kinergarden) as it is full day.

Elaine, 預埋我一份. 我而家開始搜集幼兒院資料, 未開始做實地參觀, 心目中有屋企附近既翠茵、茵怡等, 但翠茵學費偏貴, 泊得住九龍塘名校. 聽其他媽媽講, 坑口救世軍都唔錯, 不過BB一出世就要報名.

TKO媽媽, 妳地有無心儀既幼兒園? 會揀全日定半日? 會否送BB去九龍讀? 前幾日收到比華利幼兒園傳單, 可以選擇一星期五天、三天及兩天, 妳地覺得如何?一齊分享吓?

各位住中西區的媽咪, 在中西區討論區終於有媽咪覆我"基恩幼兒中心"的question, copy 俾大家參考:

1. 唔會有壓力, 返學好開心~
2. 8:00AM-6:00PM 更可延展至8:00PM (對要返工架父母一流 )
3. 常常有親子圖工, 親子活動
4. 有家長會交流意見
5. 家長如有時間可做義工, 如說故事, 講工作相關(e.g. 消防員)
6. 有生命教育課, 小朋友學到認識自己, 關心別人, 責任&自理, 分享, etc.
7. N3-4(=K2-3), 會去植物公園, Toyrus, 保護牙齒中心, 小學, 護老院...etc

升邊間小學呀？有呂明才, 般咸道官小, 聖安多尼 ... 唔記得咁多... 好似上年見個份list, 等我今晚嘗試找找再話過你聽

聽妳咁講, 妳似乎幾滿意基恩幼兒中心, 是否已決定幫Nika入讀基恩呢? 會原校升讀K1嗎?

想知妳以甚麼基準去挑選...........語言(如英文教學)、知名度、返學開心無壓力、宗教、近屋企、學費......

For those mamies interested in Victoria playland and prenursery.

Victoria playland can register anytime but right now, I am on the waiting list.

Victoria prenursery - registration form will be distributed in early Oct 05 and interview will be held in Nov 05 or early 06. School will start in Aug.

Actually, 希望多活動俾小朋友參與, 反而在學術上無乜要求, 知名度、用什麼語言教學, 我同我老公都唔係咁介意, 因為唔想俾佢咁細個就有功課及學習壓力。
當然, 最好係近屋企啦, 有乜事要去學校都近d o麻。

其實我都已經向d家長問了幾間幼兒園的資料, 在中西區可以全日制的幼兒園唔係咁多, 基恩係so far comment 最好的一間。

不過我都會繼續做資料搜集, 事關唔係妳話入, 人地就收o麻! 再有其他資料, 再向妳們報料!

I also live in TKO and plan to apply for the following kindergartens for my baby girl who will reach 3 years old by June 2007 :
HK side :-
(1) St. Paul's
(2) Precious Blood
TKO :-
(3) St. Andrew's (same as your choice)
(4) Deborah (Fu Hong)
(5) 基督教宣道
(6) 茵怡
I've recently taken a site visit to St. Andrew's which is next to my home and 茵怡 and will visit the other two in TKO later. I think the campus of St. Andrew's is very beautiful and spacious while the teachers of 茵怡 are more experienced and all look very nice.
Anyway, besides St. Andrew's and 翠茵, do you have any other choices?

聽講"救恩學校"都唔錯, 可以直升小學部。已經可以開始查詢06-07年的入學資料了。

我還未決定，心水如下(排名不分先後)
兩歲幼兒園 (想讀半日):
1. 明德救世軍 - 教學方法有d名氣，但較遠、聽講呢間救世軍比其他救世軍幼兒園差d (唔知真定假)
2. 茵怡 - 老師有愛心，d學生都讀得開心，但程度淺
3. 翠茵 - 外籍老師、功課多(唔知好定壞)
三歲幼稚園:
1. St. Andrew's - 校舍好，校長好 (首選)、都係遠 (冇幼兒園)
2. 翠茵 - 程度深d (但要睇亞囡追唔追得上)
3. 明德救世軍 - 如果讀幼兒園讀得好就直上

曉琳於三個月時已報明德救世軍幼兒園，當時我都有係到講過，我都係唔知跟邊個6月媽媽報定先。

我都想參觀St. Andrew's ，幾時會有得去？你有冇佢個電話號碼？

係呀，翠茵學費泊得住九龍塘名校，但又冇九龍塘名校咁好。好多人情願坐校車去Lam Tin迦南。

一星期返三、兩天，BB時間觀念會唔會差d？成日唔知自己幾時要返學。但BB可以休息下。

I remember last time when I went there, I just rang their door bell, walked in and asked if I could take a look, probably around 3:45 pm on one Friday afternoon. No need to make a reservation as the teachers there are very nice and do not mind showing you around. They even gave me a very detailed briefing on their courses and teaching method. Moreover, as the St. Andrew's Church is right next to the kindergarten, the Church is open to the public til 10:00 pm, you can just go inside the Church and will be able to get a closer look at the open playground of the kinder.

As one of my colleagues goes to the St. Andrew's Church every Sunday and his wife teaches at St. Andrew's Primary School, I can give you some more info on the primary school, if you wish 曉琳 to study there when she's older.

The telephone no. of St. Andrew's is 2174 8318 and their web-site is www.sackg.edu.hk

By the way, my baby's name is 曉晴, the same middle name as your daughter's.

This is also the same reason why my husband and I chose 曉晴 as the name of my daughter : happy and full of energy!!!
I also plan to send 曉晴 to my mother school, i.e. Precious Blood (for primary) or St. Paul's (for secondary). Although I really want my daughter to go to a 一條龍 school, I'm afriad it would be too far for my daughter to go to a kindergarten at the HK side as she's so little, so I'm still figuring out ?-( ?-( ?-(
