I have booked 22/12-27/12 to Seoul. Also thinking which ski resort to go - Yongpyong vs Alpensia. We have been to Phoenix Park, then High One & last year Yongpyong. My husband & elder son really like Yongpyong for the numerous ski slopes compared to other ski resorts. But last time we stayed at Tower Condo of Yongpyong, they were a bit worn out. Alpensia's slopes are a bit limited but the promotion offer seems quite attractive. Anyone who will be there at about the same time as us?
bbeasy25, we've booked Lotte World finally, first and last night...and booked 3 nights at inter-con today, now awaiting their amendment for the complimentary stay. have they done it for u already?
hi Jsmami, i've also booked the flight fr dec 22-27, exactly the same as u, cx afternoon flight go and afternoon back, now waiting for the morning flight on the first day. we've never been to korea.
Hi okee, our flights are midnight to Seoul and afternoon return on CX, waiting for evening flight return on Dec 26 & 27 (but chance is slim). Are you 2 adults & 1 kid? We have 2A2C. CX package has very limited choices for us (cos most hotels do not accept 4 persons in a room). I want to try Alpensia but my son strongly objects to it cos he is quite keen on skiing. Alpensia does not have that many slopes unfortunately. My husband doesn't want to bother taking taxi from Intercon in Alpensia to Yongpyong either. So...
yes, my agent said many ppl r waiting for the evening flight on those few days so asked me not to waste time la...
Mine are 2A2C also. my agent said the hotel does not allow them to add the children so it may charge us extra by that time. But bbeasy25 said we may 博一博 so we will too. they r 5 & 3, i think ok gwa...heard that there are some free shuttle buses running between alpensia and yongpyong, i think it's not a problem if we take the timetable earlier...hehe, we love to stay at newer hotels, in addition to inter-con's promotion, no point not to choose it...
I have already reserved the room from Aplensia Intercontinental (from 21 Dec to 24 Dec). Finally We have got the promotion offer. So, it is free on 24 Dec. As I know 24 ,25 & 26 Dec rooms rates are a higher than normal.
They amended my booking record and sent confirmation letter to me as well. I will stay there in 24-27/12. We may meet in Inter-Con and let child have a fun, my boy is 4 years old.
If 5 star hotel, there is NO charge for small child even breakfast is also free. It is my experience. My friend travel with two kids(10 & 8 years old), there is NO extra charges for most of hotel.

大吉, u r so lucky that they give u the free stay is the more expensive night. i've booked the nights on 23rd-25th and found that 23rd & 24th r more expensive than 25th. guess they will not charge the 3rd night on 25th.
