I'm a Giorogi Armani fans and my comments may be a bit bias...

I also got spots on my face. But there is no problem in using GA. Aparting from its foundation, I also use its softening lotion (gel like) and modeling make-up base. They are really good. And I can keep my outlook until lunch. Afterwards, I only use the softening lotion and 2-way-cake. They work well even under very dry seaon.

There is no discount/sale for Giorgio Armani cosmetic no matter how much you bought. As I usually buy several items together, I couldn't recall how much each item costs individually. Just a rough estimation:

1. softening lotion (gel like): 300
2. modeling make-up base (one for winter and one for summer): 300
3. hydro grow foundation, winter (I use number 4): 350
4. luminous silk foundation, summer (again number 4): 350
5. loose power: 350
6. eye shadow (number 9 and 12 for covering my panda eyes; number 33 for eye brow): 180
7. skin retouch (number 2 again for covering dark eye-lid): 200
8. soft eye liner pencil: 180
9. concealer (liquid, but I gave it up now as it's not strong for my deep black circle, I go back to Cle de peau): 220
10. Mascara base (given up again as the effect is not obvious after using for a few months): 200
11. Mascara (given up and change to Anna Sui): 200
12. Lipstick: 200
13. Lip Gloss (pearl): 180

I've used this line for around 3 years. The above 1-7 are my must buy items. And I have tried using other brand but just don't have a similar effect.

Once you bought the products, they will invite you to join their VIP club. But it doesn't mean that you will be given any discounts. On the contrary, you'll be invited to try their products during its promotion periods. Or, you'll be given a free face design for celebrating your birthday, festival (like Christmas). To me, these are very good.

Well, I may be too blindness to GA. Hope the above is useful to you.

hi hesheit,

ha ha ha... I have tried almost the same things as you expect the makeup base. I used the one with SPF. But I use the sheer fluid and Cream Blush (sometimes). and I gave up Hydro Glow Foundation.

Now I use both GA luminious silk foundation and Cle De Peau satin cream foundation and the liquid concealer from GA. To be honest, I like Cle De Peau better. And I think I will go back to Cle De Peau concealer stick to conceal my dark circles like what u did. But lately, my skin color is very dull as I am so tired. So even applying cle de peau doesn't really help. I need to apply something like the sheer fluid and the color base from Mabelline. It helps to brighten my skin a bit. Just sharing. Or anyone has good suggestion to help my dull skin color, pls let me know. Thanks

Yes, I've also tried Cle de peau before. As it's so expensive, I go back to GA. However, I will try Cle de peau free makeup service this Saturday. Perhaps, I'll change my idea again.

Have you put on face mask regularly? I previously also got a dull face. After enough sleep (yes, very luxury with 8 hours a day) and 8 cups of water, with face mask (almost daily). I got some radiant face in most of the mornings (sure with the magic of cosmetic).

Anyway, if Maybeline is good, I'm also interested to it though I'm still a GA lover.

Let us know what is the makeup session with Cle De Peau. I haven't tried once. But I've done 2 times with GA and I loved it.

Yes, my sleep quality is very bad. Actually, I can sleep no matter how long I want to as I have a job seeker now with no kid. But I still feel tired all the time. Thus, i have the dull skin color now. Anyway, thanks for yr advice. And We are pretty much "great minds think alike." ha ha....

yes, it looks as if we got some similarities - like GA and free makeup sessions . it's my pleasure to hear "great minds think alike."

well, i've changed my cle de peau make-up appointment to next thursday. sure update you again for any findings.

This make-up session is a joint promotion of my visa card. i usually try all the free makeup services provided so as to learn the makeup technique. as my face skin is really thick, i don't feel shame even though i don't buy any. actually i've also left my contact in cle de peau counter. hence, i sometimes also tried her new products even though i buy only her concealar now.

by the way, i was very impressed by cle de peau sales. i still remember the sales lady wrote to me after my first purchase. she asked for my comments on her products. so surprised! that's why i had visited her shop for the 2nd and 3rd times. however, her later recommended foundation and loose power colour didn't match me in which i didn't notice during the trial session. :( as i've already bought them by that time, i continued using the inappropriate foundation colour for almost 2 months. and i have received many bad comments from my friends - mature look, i therefore switched to GA and now has became GA fans 3 years ago. GA has a magic of turning me look young (sure only when i got enough sleep).

anyway, thanks for listening to my long story. i hope you can always have a nice sleep and be refreshing after each rest!

Agreed! I usually ask the Sales whether I can put the foundation on my face. If they're hesitate, sure I'll not do that. On the contrary, I don't buy that product too.

When I was young, I also felt embarrassing if I haven't bought anything. As time goes by, the feeling has gone. I couldn't buy something that is not suitable for myself. I earn my money under a very hard working. hence, I must fully understand the products before taking out my cash.

通常我地試粉底都會試在手,因為手婉較面色白,選擇時較為合適,這樣更可以知道粉底的質感,遮瑕成份高與否,一試便會一目了然..... :-P

Hello 敏敏媽咪,

Yes, you can request the Sales to do it for you. If possible, I'll suggest you visiting the shop between 2pm and 6pm. The sales are less busy and you can have plenty of time to try almost the whole line.

Sales service? Most of them are nice and are with patience in explaining the products.

Hope you can get a suitable foundation for yourself.
