Thanks for sharing and this really courage me up! My mom keeps asking why I prefer QEH as we actually can financially afford it. But I think baby's safety is the most important, and my friend's got similar expereince like your friend (though not so critical and did not cause any long-term disability). I am not an independent person but I ask myself to be tough and handle all those challenges (e.g. sleep less, take care of myself and baby through days and nights) when I stay in the hospital... As in my pervious thread, I do think some nurse in QEH is good and they are diligent in their work...

I also agree. That's also a reason I choose QE and not choose private hospital. If your baby or you have problem during delivery, they don't have professions to stand by in private doctor.
