How are u? I am a new joiner here, but I would like to share your experience. I have brown tissues from yesterday. Now I wait to see the doctor tomorrow in PMH,Lai King.(I booked when I have check-up in health centre.) I saw a private doctor on 18 April and just wanted to see the heartbeat of the baby, but disappointed and shock that there is sac but no fetus,tomorrow it should be 11 weeks exactly.But the doctor mentioned the sac(tai long) only 2.7cm...smaller than it was. I checked with internet, this is a term of BLIGHT OVUM...premature pregnancy failure.
I wonder why your doctor mentioned he could not use medicine/drugs, it should have two options before 12 weeks. Is the private doctor wanted to earn more and say so. I am worried as well if the doctor let me to choose tomorrow. Most likey I would lilke to take drugs. I don't know.

Thank you for the information. What is your next step? I have the same experience as u. I just wait till tomorrow going to PMH(Lai King).
For these two days, I slept a lot even though there is help for blight ovum,at least sleep more is good for my body and prepare for the drugs or operation...osim, take care. We are here to support who needs help.
Thankyou Osim, I had ultrasound twice in two different private doctors, one is Dr.Fung Shiu Ming(YL) and the other is Dr. Leung Kwok Ling(TST) in week 6 and week 10. For the first time, I visited Dr.Fung, he said it was too early to check heartbeat on tummy ultrasound, he asked me whether I would like to take vaginal scan, I said no need because I thought it may too early to have that check. At that time,I saw the sac and small spot at the bottom of the circle,he said that should be the baby soon. It was very small,the sac has 1.8cm x1.5cm. But last Saturday, I went to Dr Leung(wanted to see other private doctor which mentioned my my colleague),I felt shock he said it couldn't be optimistic. I almost cried when he said he didn't see the fetus (from vaginal scan)that should show up if I remember right day of Last M. Of course I am sure my LM. He asked to wait for a week and observe. During this week, I don't think it will have miracle. Because it suppose almost 11 weeks. In a word, I didn't see any cue of fetus appeared in the sac. Of course there was no heartbeat if there was no fetus.
Tomorrow I should get an answer whether I do operation or drugs when I go to PMH.
Osim, are u going to see the private doctor for everything such as operation or drugs soon if touchwood it may have to.

Now it seems that I have real friend understand me in this situation. But do u still have brown discharge? I have still....but tomorrow is a new day. I called Dr Leung yesterday about Brown discharge, it is not such urgent to go to emergency that's why I wait till tomorrow check up in Public hospital(PMH).He was nice to call me back after I left a message to his clinic. He said the brownish discharge was come from my body not the sac because I always think the sac will come out after brown,then red. But he said if really bleeding, go straight ER.

If u had a piece of blood(fresh red),most likely the sac if you are at the beginning of pregnancy,such as 5 weeks. But of course I am not the doctor. What I know is from a book and check from internet. I guess there is no cost to wait for other check,if the baby still there, it should be there. If unfortunately it came out already, you have to see the doctor whether it came out all.This is very important if there is some tissues inside, you may get infection.
Be positive as my husband told me. Who should we marry, we can choose. But give birth to a baby, it seems not under our control.
Take more rest is good for you as well.

Dr Leung is good or not, at this moment I am not sure. Because when I mentioned I will go to PMH, he said I am cost concern and the attitude is different. But still okay. When I asked whether I can take drugs or operation, he said it is too early to think so,take rest ... but actaully I saw nothing inside the sac,one week is comfort period.
Am...my parents didn't know. Only close friends and few colleague know. I am on annual leave untill 21 April.
