I have just read about a Taiwanese monthly Mag (www.benesse.com.tw).
Have you heard about it?
Do you think it is worthwhile to subscribe?
I m thinking about to order it!!!!

I passed by Parsons Shatin yesterday and asked them about the schedule on 親親鋼琴班. There will be a new class started in June and so the next one which fit our schedule will be started in around Dec. But you know, the staff told me that the 親子班 of 親親鋼琴班 is taught by Ms. Ma's mother, Ms. Chan and she also teaches students individually, but she only accept those students she considered to have talent and at a rate of $450 per hour for grade 1......

$450/hour for grade 1

(This is the 2nd most expensive fee that I heard... the most expensive one is $500/hour for grade 3 violin taught by a violinist in HKAPA, similar to Ms Chan, he also 'selects' those kids with great talent in music only... very 'inch' in sense ... but most of his students got prizes in music festival + open competition...)

for 親親鋼琴班... I am still thinking of it... coz I've a good church friend (also the 司琴 in my wedding) who now FT in teaching piano... she was a primary school teacher specialised in teaching music (especially for lower primary pupils) + musical therapy for disability and now quitted the job for futher education in master of musical therapy...

She has already 答應做我家三隻小豬既音樂老師了... but she said child < 4 yrs old should not start to learn piano wor... (I also agree with the age requirement...) and sooooo

yes... I think Ms. Chan is expensive too ..... When I studying for the diploma course a few years before, my fee is only $550 per hour only (of course, my teacher is not that famous la).......

I may want HH to continue in 兒童鋼琴班 after finishing the little Mozart. If he's interested, then I can consider to let him taking private piano lesson after that (he's about 4 by then lor). As talked to the staff in Parsons with nn last week, they have 親子班 and kids only class (cheaper) for 兒童鋼琴班. So I checked with Shatin branch for the schedule lor

Joshua ma, do u think your friend will agree to be HH"s music teacher also .... you know, it's so difficult to find a good teacher ar

if you have time, go the the Harbour City Bazaar sale on baby & kid wear, just start today. I saw the baby micky/minnie baby 袍仔 @$10, soft and good quality. Hallmark baby clothes are of good quality too. I bought some cheap pants and some comme ca stuff at 70%off
