You need to reserve maximum 12 months for jobless as I think on 1st 3-6 months, you would be busy on settle down.
Also, depends on if you plan to buy or rent your home. For apartment, it's around CAD1000-1500 per months (2-bedroom). Utilities, i.e. cell phone, electrity/gas, cable TV, internet. It should be around CAD300.
If you will buy a car, gasoline around CAD200-300 a month depends on if you are frequent driver.
Yes, you can declare leaving Hk and draw the money from mpf. Please be reminded it takes one month to get the money.
Or you can rent a basement from a house around cad800 depends on the area you stay. You can Also buy 2nd hand car. However, car insurance not cheap there. Which city you plan to live?
Oic...Thx~~
Toronto. And we hv few friends now living in Markham area.
So where r u living in now? and moved to Canada for how long?
Do u mind share with me more about this issue?
I live in Vancouver and stayed in Toronto area for a few years 20 years ago. I been canada for almost 30 years, just want to share with you the living standard here. Please don't expect you can get the same job here if u not graduated from Canada or US. If you don't mind to do any job, should be fine surviving here.
No. It's the first time I traveled to Toronto for the written exam of the Physiotherapy Competency Exam (PCE).
If luckily I can pass it, I need to go to Toronto again for the the practical exam.
Then I can get the license and practice physiotherapy in Ontario.
