hi waikiki,

i don't think i ve time to take the 教師班 as I have returned to work. nearly all my "after-work" time has been reserved for interacting w/ the baby.

Let's share more how to incorporate the concept in daily life.

Hi babyeddie

How are you? What pics are you talking about? The ones we took in Shangrila?

You will be able to get some basic concepts of what Montesorri is about in the teacher training class. The instructors will talk about the 5 areas and do some demonstrations.

After taking this course, you will have some ideas on how to choose / DIY toys and provide a good setting at home for your baby.

Hope to meet you and other Dr Ng's patients soon.

recently, my husband has agreed to take the parent class. i m still thinking if i should take the "teacher" class in the coming Sept. one concern is the baby is still 8 months, will it be too early? and i m afraid i will forget the things learnt if i can only use them years later. (u know, after pregnant, becoming more absent-minded)

what's your advice on that?

btw, did u take the class and did you buy the mont's tools or did u diy yourself? i am thinking of buying little mont but quite expensive

When I took my teacher training course, my baby was just 9 months old. I think it is never too early. I am sure you don't want to wait until things become too late, right? Why don't you take it now, so you can have better preparation at home. For example, how to spare some space for your baby when he can crawl, cruise and walk, etc...

If time allows, I suggest you should take it. You can take a lot of photos during lessons and write yourself some notes, so you will not forget what you learn.

Do you find the teaching class useful??

BTW, where do you buy the Mon toys from Little Mont or from China via KP, I am struggling to buy the toys from Little Mont as I am a bit worry abt the quality of toys from China

Hello there, I have just found out about this Mont. thread, what a read! I am probably the only mother here that has never heard of Mont., so ashamed of myself:tongue: Hope i am not too late to make a start.

Virgobb- thanks so much for all your links, they are great, esp. the videos.

Waikiki- Where can I find out more about the teacher classes? Where to do them?

My hubby keeps telling me to go to bed b4 midnight but obviously I am still unable to...too addicted to bk....

I already got the order form from KP and I will order from her as they said that the quality is OK.
However, I find that almost all tools are suitable for 2 age or above. Could you tell me that when you will teach your baby in using this tools.
