我都有morning sickness, 而家4個月啦, 好咗D, 不過間唔中都有嘔, 好彩, 我開始食返多D野, 雖然口味轉咗, 都好過冇得食! 我今日先見完個OB, 我重得個1磅, 重要係我著咗牛仔褲, 我諗, 所以先重咗... ?-( 不過我個OB完全都唔膽心. 佢話唔好咁重係好事黎.... 生仔緊係好, 但係生女都唔差, 如果呢胎係女, 我都唔生啦, 頂唔順, 除非又有意外....
真係大吉利是....

你不如試下掃多D風, 可能會有幫助, 剛出世BB好易會肚仔痛, 因為多gas, 可以問PED, 俾下D 去GAS 既 DROP 俾佢, 好好多架. 祝你一切順利啦!

你覺唔覺得Shaper Image Ionic Breeze GP 好似無咩用? 同埋你幾耐clean部機一次? 我發覺clean完好快部機出面又有一層白色粉末, 唔知係唔係dust? 另外我係living room放一部UV Air Purifier, 佢話有殺菌作用同吸oder, 所以煮完飯都間屋都唔會好大陣味.

我個囡7.5 months, not growing any teeth yet. Yesterday I weight her 19lbs with light clothes, she's now drinking about 22-24oz formula, congee for lunch and 2-3oz cereal + 1 jar 2nd stage baby food for dinner, in between i'll give her some fruit like fresh apple, banana. I don't know what kinda finger food i can give her, please recommend some.

我個時老公申請我係找lawyer do the paper work,真係快好多, about 1 year就拿到green card, 不過可能老公已經係citizen, my situation is different than you. I also heard before you can stay in US while waiting for the process but the condition is you can't leave US until you receive the notice/interview from the INS.

Did you use some ginger when you make the fish? I only tried the fish fillet like basa/龍利. I usually will steam the fish seperately with little ginger so it can 辟腥 then mix into congee at last. Also, when I make fish congee, I will use a piece of meat to cook the congee first, it's like 吊味作用, try again la, usually they need to try a few times before they like to eat. If he doesn't like fish taste, you can make meat or chicken first, i did the same on my girl too. Add oil!

We saw our little baby thro' ultrasound yesterday la.... and it's a little girl! Well, I think she is a very active little girl because she is kicking me a lot! We can start buying bb things la!

My hubby and I will go to LV this Sat and Sun also!!! Maybe we can have our own "pre-gathering" in LV!! Which hotel u stay? We go there by coach and will be staying in Excalibur. Should we exchange phone no. in email? Does your cell phone have roaming?

Evie is such a big girl already! Time flies, I still remember her photo with Hello Kitty!
I did not put on weight also for the first few months, but now it's a very steady 4 lbs per month! And since she is a little girl, I will eat more bird-nest to keep her pretty la!

I heard that it's much easier to get yourself a legal status if u 2 get married here in US, the time req will be shorter than if u get married and then wait for the approval in HK. u just need to enter US as a tourist, get married (well, pretend that u 2 have love in first sight and cannot wait!!! ) , turn in the paper work to INS and then wait in US lor. The only downside is that u cannot leave US until all paper work approved.
Ask your bf to consult an attroney to see which way is better, and whether his green card is good enough to apply u la!

So when should we prepare to in your wedding banquet?

I will do both the breastfeeding and formula for 2 mos and after that formula only, since I am going back to work in 3 mos, don't want to pump the milk out at work. I will "eat better" gar la, my mom will take care me for my "sit moon period" she has already told me zillion times, I need to eat and rest better this time.

You have passed 3 mos now, yeah, did you feel the movements yet? I can feel my girl's movement as soon as 15 weeks, much faster than my son. :mrgreen:

I heard a terrified story from my colleague today! His wife gave birth to their 2nd son early May, but the second dose of epidural made her right leg lump at that time. Now is over 2 weeks and she still has not recovered yet.... :-| Is epidural really safe???

Yes, I feel very strange too! The first three month my meal changed from a total Chinese to a total westerner: I could only eat sandwiches and pizza! Now is much better and luckily I crave for some healthy food: mainly fruit, esp oranges (I did not eat it much beforehand!)

Baby girls are so precious...Natalie will love to play with your bb!!! When I gave birth to Natalie, I had the continuous epidural drip...so there was never a 2nd dose. You should consult with you OB to get reassurance. Just like any other medical intervention, there will be small risk Good luck this weekend!!!

My grandma makes congee for Natalie for lunch...she lives 5 mins. away. I know she uses chicken breast with abalone to cook the congee. Sometimes she uses pork with dry duck gizzard too. We haven't tried fish congee yet. For dinner, I would feed her rice cereal with bb food. For the adult food, I only give her soft things like "chon fun" or "bau"...sometimes I give her white rice with some soft meat. Natalie would also eat stir-fry veggies (leaf only) I haven't let her try yogurt or cheese yet..like Nillie said....waiting for her to turn 1 first :lol: :lol: :lol:

Miss Natalie also likes to throw her toys out of the the crib. Actually when she is bored of the toy, she would kick it, throw it, or somehow get it out of her face :tongue: :tongue: :tongue: I can't wait to see Mini-Matt next week...

You're lucky the weather is still good...then you will be comfortable. It's getting so hot in LA...untolerable in the afternoon

I recognise... since I've sew the curtains and put them on... my hay fever gets worse.. you know.. I just got mad with that.. as I tried too much afford to sew the curtain in the lovely-right size for each window.. this is my first sew job.. which the "produce" are really "TO BE USED"... I did remember no carpet at home.. but about the curtains.. I totally forgot.. what I can do now..? remove them and buy the plastic one? woo woo woo..... :-( :-( :-(

New Born bb (infant) with about 6-8 lbs, are the most easiest for mom to deliver, and for parents to take care of.. because the size of BB is not too big to carry or too small to handle, also, if less than 5 lbs, infant may need to stay in hospital inside the "feed farm"--> a place which for the infant to feed "bigger" until they reach 5 lbs to go home... Also, less than 5 lbs, normally .. will associate with some medical problems.
So, if Cutie mommy's infant is about 7lbs when s/he comes out, easy to take care.
Hay fever was developed when I was in Melbourne, I was on Zyrtec which made me feel so good.. also Advil is good too (old group of hay fever drug, not OTC anymore). But when I came over to New York, none of them works...
OIC.. AM1480 said that if your spouse is a resident with green card, then you have to wait out side US for a while. But you can apply visa to visit your honey, right? then... remember every time ..come and visit us... We leave a bedroom for you, free bed& breakfast.. hee hee.. but you have to play with my daughter Amanda in return.. Hey... as all of us said.. COME SOONER AND GET MARRIED, so your honey can file your case sooner ^o^

Do you know the name of the UV air purifier ? I would like to try... We clean the Ionic breeze about 2-3 days a time... also after clean it, we do bottom up the whole machine 3 times as prescribed. Really don't work for me this month...

However; it needs take a long hour to do. Who take care my girl?? Ok, back to real world, keep my ugly hair....

When my girl was Mini-Matt age, same as throw toys to the floor. I read about this, they are normal, just want explore their toys, what happen if the toys throw and down.

You move here when you were small. I think your english is very good, right! I saw my friend's son, he was 10 now ( 8 yrs move ) , his english is no problem. Do you remember Chinese words? I began to teach chinese word to my girl.

Do you still find a job in LA? About Thousand Oaks, we passed this area ( in freeway ) when we came to visit my mom-in-law last time. ( Moms Day). It seems about one hour away from LAX. Are you have offer from there?

The hard time will pass when your bb grows more. You make sure bb not cold, not hungry, not fever, check diaper frequently and give your bb more hug and hold. When your bb feel safe, he should be sleep well. ADD GAS !! :lol:

CatCatHK,

You made me remembered when I dated my hubby, we also apart HK and US. On that time, we did not have internet, only fax, letter and phone call. You can register ( marry ) in US and then enter the application form ( immigration ).

I also injected " Epidural", my feet feeling is back to normal after next day, only my tummy ( under bellybutton ) seems a little bit no feeling, it keeps me a year. Now is back to normal la. My friend told me the " Epidural " has 90% resist pain. It must helpful when you pain. You can try to take the delivery class in hospital. They will explain how many method to delivery, how to bath bb, feed bb, etc... It is very helpful! :-P

we have a daughter, name Amanda, she is 21 months old, we live in New York, and this moment, I am still having my job interview (at California), if once I got a good offer we will relocate to California from New york.. as my fat bear bear hubby wish to change the living environment.

not yet for the job interview in new york today, the job agency said that it is pending.. actually, we thought... because they are waiting for my EAD (renewed one) to come out. so not setting up any interview.

If none of the western med. is working for you, why not try the accupuntrist, my sister's friend just went there once, he was 100% cured and my aunt went there last week and she said she felt so much better and she is going back there again this week, cuz she has the terrible alllergy problem, she tired all the western med and she even had the shots too but now, she can sleep through the night, check out the PM, I have send you the info. This will be my last resource for you, :mrgreen:
About the curtains, I know you can only use the blinds if you have the serious allergy problem but why not try to see that accupuntrist first, maybe he can save your master pieces la

There is always a side effect of any drug that including epidural, if you have the doubt, try to attend the child birth class, they will explain to you more, I had the epidural when I had my son but this time, if I will try not to use it.

The weather is just very unstable in NY these few years, the summer didn't really arrive until we reached July, we usually have the 1st BBQ/Pool party in the memorial weekend years back but now most of time, even on July 4 holiday, you can't jump into the water yet.
Lucky that your grandma will cook the lunch for Natalie for you, save you a lot of time, heheeh :mrgreen:
