oh ... i'll need to think twice or how to persuade not to let my boy go into the swimming pool if we'll be joining you guys for the gathering.
Reason is that he got really bad eczema (skin allergy with rashes). he's allergic to the pool water maybe becoz of the chemical things in it. last year after he's been in the pool water, it took him quite a while to recover from his skin allergy problem.
he's so crazy for swimming although he hasn't really learn how to swim so he still doesn't know swimming. this year i haven't let him to swim in the pool yet. my husband said maybe we'll try let him swim in the beach water in HK.
anyway, will touch base with you gals when we're in macau.

I think your little one will be very upset, seeing all the kids in the water, and that he is left behind... Are you sure it is because of the water? How many times had he got rashes after swimming? Did you take him to the doctor? If yes(most probably), what did the doctor say? as swimming is really a very good activity for kids, it is a pity that he can't enjoy swmming freely in the water... :cry:
