I have stated my intention to buy 20 - 30 pcs and will be getting them tomorrow. Can let you have 5 pcs next Monday. Want it ? She also has other vege and I am trying ~2 catties of each : 豆角，節瓜，蕹菜。

In that case can we go to fruit market earlier tomorrow ? I can call you at 8:30 am, and meet you there at 10 am, then buy, then your hubby drive me back to Kln City ~11:15am ?
But without trolley la, yanyan need to go to Tuen Mun for corn and vege tomorrow.

Kittylock, Mango Buddies,

Called the shop this morning, but NO L or XL mangoes today.

The mangoes are still out in the sea, on the ship.
They will arrive today, and will be available for sale tomorrow.
But NONE today.

Since LSW has other activities scheduled for tomorrow morning, we will NOT be going today / tomorrow. Instead we are scheduling NEXT SUNDAY for mangoes.

I didn't know that we need to wait for shipments, cos everytime I went on Sundays, I find a lot of mangoes (boxes). Seems that I was quite lucky to fit in with the shipmnet schedules.

2. Have bought : Chin string beans, jit gwa, ung choi, si gwa. Will try ALL of them tonight, but at least they look vvv good. Better than the organic vege you find in Jusxx/PK.

But it is really quite far away. My yanyan went to Tuen Mun by West Rail to collect them. An alternative collection site is in Kwai Fong MTR.

Anyway, if any of you are interested, can kiv and see what seasonal vege are available.
One jit gwa weighs 6.5 catties !! As huge as a small dung gwa used for making dung gwa chung.

豆角 - $16/catty
節瓜 = $16/catty (mine weighs 6.5 catties !!!)
蕹菜 = $10/catty
see瓜 = $16/catty
green pepper = $16/catty
glutinous corn = $5 per ear

No XL mangoes today.
Only 1 box of L mangoes - (($130)) Corr : $150/box of ~38, plus $5 for the box.

1 box of Sunkist naval oranges, $280 / box of 56.
1 box of bing cherries, $500 / box of 18 lbs.

LSW,

The shopkeeper of the mangoes also sells the brand of Malaysian melons I bought last week, ~$7x per box of 2 today.
So next Sunday when you go buy mangoes you can buy the water melons there too, no need to go to many many shops to look around.

And you were also interested in cherries.
Well I got this from the shop selling oranges, which closes at 1pm on Sundays.

So if you want water melons, mangoes and cherries next Sunday, you can buy all of them.

Fruit and corn warehouse !!
Finished the vege already, only things left are the corn and the huge jit gwa.
And of course the fruit.

I have to deliver some mags (fireflies) to YMCA at 6:30pm. Should be home by 7:30pm.
Pay me later loh.

36.5oC - 36.8oC.
So no revision tonight, altho exam is only 2 weeks away.

how come piglet has fever again, flu? I thought it's normal for baby/toddler to run fever ofternly

che, Carly,

Piglet's "normal" temp by our ear thermometor is below 36oC. We need to take daily temp for school records since Mar this yr.
So for piglet whatever above 36.5oC ==> 燒豬仔，quite hot in palm, body, thighs, and he complains of being dizzy / tired.

I think the kids are not used to such high temp yet.

Thanks for the corns. We try yesterday and it is very sweet and soft.

For the cherries, you bought one boxes ==18lbs. Whole box for your family,

. Cherries can not hold long bor.

Will you share half for me next time. I just bought it Sat at Jusco, one pack around $30, i think less than 1lb and bought 1 small box of blueberries, taste good too. Did you see any at fruit market?

American Strawberries is very sweet too at Jusco. $29.8. My son ate one whole box at Sat. while i'm bathing and my honey playing computer.

Cherries - gave some to piano teacher, Leung Sifu, and 2 TKD classmates already.
The rest I transferred into 4-5 plastic bags and kept in fridge.
I can easily eat 2 - 3 lbs at one time ga, provided I have time to eat it. Maybe I take some back to office tomorrow and have cherries for lunch.

Blueberries -
You can also find lots of these in fruit market, but too much - need to buy 1 box, ie many many small boxes. So better buy the small boxes from Jusco la.

Don't mind sharing, but problem is, how can we divide it ?-( They come in 1 box, no partitions, no smaller bags / boxes inside the box ga.

Grapefruit - Another easily found item is some pinkish grapefruit, from Zimbwabe (somewhere in Africa). The organge shop said it tastes sweet, but I didn't try, too many fruit and vege already, and I don't like grapefruit too much.

Oranges - The oranges I bough (56 / box, ie $5 @) are very big and heavy ==> juicy. Will try orange juice from these oranges tonight.

Strawberries - Why

your son for eating all of them ? He left nothing for you ? Well piglet always eats ALL and leaves nothing for us if it is something he likes. So we are already used to it. Better have him eat more fruit than none la. Piglet doesn't like strawberries, cherries, peaches, nectarine - stupid piglet.

Mangoes - The shopkeeper said they are rare now. I think they picked the XL size ones and sold already, only L size left nowadays. And the box of L yesterday was much cheaper than that last week. I think mango season may be nearing the end.

RMM and HMM - if you want L size mangoes, I can spare some ga !!

They were half-green yesterday, not too ripe yet.
