i decide to buy the Disneyland annual pass for weekday and then i can entitles to have the benefit of the discount for buffet and hotel.
Thanks for your advise. It is more worth.

i saw at their websites, start from July, may be it is summer holiday, the discount for the hotel is just 15% off instead of 35% off during April-June.

Did you go to play the priates's games during June 2007. Any good games and interesting games?

Depends on which airlines can earn the mileage !
If CX can earn the mileage, I would choose CX.
No mileage for both, try Oasis la.

Your Filipino maid is definitely CRAZY !! Must fire her asap !! Either she doesn't use her pea-brain, or doesn't have any brain-cells !!

If you cook the corn, it will not keep for long even if you put it in the fridge !!! But if you leave them as I said on the floor, on top of newspaper to help it air, it can keep for much longer !!
What a waste of my dear precious pig-corn !!

My maid cooks a few at a time - 4, 6 or 8.
I think you should give your maid FIRM and STERN COMMANDS. She may react better with tighter discipline. Now she acts as if she has no "wong koon" !

If I have a maid who cooks 20 ears of corn in 1 go, I would KILL her !!!

And if you need any help in eating the corn before they rot in your fridge, let me know within these 2 days. I can gladly eat about 4 or 5 for you !!

The corn I now have are reserved for piglet and my mum : piglet consumes 2 a day, my mum around 4.5 a day. There were 5 in the fridge last night and 6 uncooked, so will only last 2 more days ja, and I don't dare eat any ! :-(
Those 2 really eat all my $$$$$ !

Last time my maid went back home (Surabaya), I also bought her air ticket from CX : special rates, maids get extra baggage allowance, and employer gets 2000 Asia Miles, plus you pay by credit card and get your points !
And my maid was treated like VIP on the plane, got extra gift, and won a 14"TV for a lottery on the plane too !! So she was vvvvv happy !

And KL, this batch of L-size mangoes were particularly big for L-size, was even bigger in size than the box I bought the week before.
For XL-mangoes, they are fatter, have more "flesh", smells and tastes just as good !!

About your son's P1. Did you go register at StJo's ?
I think their academic work is quite heavy. And they use Engl Maths (Longman) same as we do. I once saw a kid on a tunnel bus, mum gave son a bun to munch, and went through all his textbooks and exercise books and worksheets and asked n questions of what happened at school that day, all the way from St. Jo right to HoManTin. I was thinking then : wow ! if I had to do that, I would rather die !!
Of the 2 in WC (Wah Yan and St Jo Pr Sch), I personally prefer WahYan. 1. for the secondary school, and 2. also many rich / famous parents and kids get invited to luxurious homes / hotels for B-day party ..... even worse than say DGJS and MCS !! Wah Yan (parents and kids) are more down to earth and humble and less naughty !! The Jesuit fathers in WY are also vvv kind ppl !
If your kid goes to P1 at StJo's, you will likely feel v frustrated with the quite snobbish and stubborn teachers too !

For St. Jo., i just curious that all the St. Jo. kinder's kids can directly go to St. Jo. primary. My friend's son did it. They all go to St. Jo. primary at the first round allocation. It is really unfair.

They has around 6 classes? and 40 persons in one class. Very heavy workload and only half day only, isn't it? Sat still need to go to school.

Piglet's fever wasn't becos of your son's dino egg chocolates. He bought and ate some potato chips at school, but wouldn't admit it !

Also becos of the hot weather.
I think he is not used to such heat yet.

Has been working in HK for 1 employer for 4 yrs.
Looked after 1 couple and 1 boy (P2).
This contract will end on 10 June.

I have her mobile no. and you can call her if you wish. For reference, can call the sir.
She is the smallish build yanyan, much smaller than me in size !

Early 30s/
The kid went to same KG as piglet, he was in KG section piglet in nursery section.
I only know the kid and the sir doesn't want her to go, but the mum insisted, cos the maid would like to take leave on Sundays but mum only allowed weekdays. Also probably becos she has been working for 4 yrs already and mum doesn't want to pay long-service payment.

1 problem - her current contract is ending on 10 Jun, so I think she wants a nearer-term contract instead of one in Dec.

Usually if you interview a maid who will end contract soon, like this one, and wants her to work for you, ==> signs the empl contract before she returns home, then she can have her new contract processed quickly and get DH visa fast, ==> can come back to HK about 1 month later.
But if the maid is already back in Indonesia / Philippines, then slower to process, maybe need 2m - 2.5m to get the visa and come to HK.

But for this one, end contract 10 June, sign new contract with new employer now ==> can show up for new job around mid-July. But don't think she is willing to wait till Dec cos that = no income $$ for a few months.

A friend aske me to ask my yanyan if there were yanyans avail soon as she was considering to fire her existing black-face bunbun. But this morning she said that her girl is now having exams and a lot of work so decide not to fire yet woh. So I thought I might as well ask whether any buddy want a yanyan soon.

My husband is 一個好人, he doesn't want to fire anyone. If he agrees to fire my existing maid, I fired her 九世 lar

Originally I want to replace another bun bun but my husband prefers yan yan. Still 50/50 ?-(

Tell him : being ovely kind (and kind-hearted) to black-faced bun = being most unkind to himself and to all family members.

Nowadays there are more passable yanyans than bunbuns.

I asked my maid why cooking all. She said because if we let them lie their, they will become less sweet woh. I said that it won't make a difference if she cooked it in one go too early!!! If it is not sweet, then it cannot be sweet if cooked. I told her how precious those organic corns are to ME and my friend (YOU) and she should not handle them in her way without asking me first.

$100 +50 taxi fare + priceless effort of BS . Each corn is priceless!!!!

My maid will cry and just say YES (but meaning nothing) whenever we sort of scold/complain about her. She does not see that she has problems. She told my hubby that everyone could be forgetful and do things wrongly woh. 無得救！ I wish to fire her too.

Agreed. KLN WY also is my target, cause the students there are more down to the earth. I've been studied in a quite famous Secondary but most of my classmates were came from local families, not very luxious. In my years, the students in famous schools are not so 自大&僥張. But nowadays seems different.

I've been to DL in May and the Pirate festival has started. Adventureland has been decorated with the 主題 and there's some stall games there. Also, Mickey, Pluto & Goofy are in new clothes whereas you can find them only in the Advertureland. Will go on 18/19 Jun for O's B-day.
