我開刀生BB, 足足要一日先見到妹妹, 妹妹一食奶就訓, 係今晚就好少少, 不過就啜得唔係幾好, 因為啜到我好痛....

amelia返咗1日學後,今日又病倒,發燒流鼻水,真係人都癲~ 我又好攰...

我依家隨遇而安,一日泵3次奶,有幾多食幾多,唔夠就補奶粉,朝早和晚上埋身餵. (好多時埋完身仲補樽)

由於我奶頭比較短, 妹妹比較難啜, 咁姑娘就介紹我用輔助乳頭奶咀, 試左一次妹妹終於啜到, 我都有少少奶比妹妹啜到, 我同妹妹都會加油, 我都係諗住餵得幾多就幾多.

Larry is hospitalised and suffer from high temperature. Not swire flu.

Could anyone give me some suggestions/insights? He's body temperature was 37.4 in Monday morning and suddenly turned 39.8 in the evening. I gave him rectal, the temperature drop to 38.x but then went up again so we sent him to QE ER and was hospitalised since then.

High temperature for 2 days then keep on fever but below 39 degree. The lungs are fine, doctors said it's URTI and only viral - no medicine except for paracetamol if the temperature is over 38.5 and 收鼻水藥, nothing else.

I think it could be secondary bacterial infection as he still has some temperature, just not that high. Well, but the doctors still think it's only viral - and I am not in the position to challenge the doctors.

Shall I go for the private hospital - will it do any help?
Will it be meningitis? any chance it will affect the brain if the temperature is not gone (39.2 again today)?

aiya,醫學的事我都唔係好識.不過醫生講過發燒係唔係傷害到個腦,但一定要防止佢有抽筋痙攣.

有醫生睇住應該無問題的,希望larry快d好返! 小朋友返學之後容易發病,但之後抵抗力會加強.

Hi eeb,

Both Tony and Ruby have been hospitalized due to high fever. Again, the diagnosis was also viral infection and was discharged after a few days. Tony 3 days and Ruby 6 days.

Don't worry too much as Larry is already in hospital, the doctors and nurses will take good care of him.

Harubi is right, the doctor at that time also said high fever did not affect the brain unless the kid suffered from "chau gun".

Wish him get well very soon.

our little princess also had high temp 39.x deg C just the day before our departure to the US. she had been coughing for a few weeks but suddenly got high temp. well, i still think it is viral. really need to see Larry to determine. but our little princess usually has skin peeling off from toes and finger tips when having viral infection.

well, in private hospitals you will feel more confortable (i guess). if money is not a concern, it is also a good option for minor diseases like this. but you know, (touchwood) when the condition gets worse, the private hospital will send the patient back to the public hospital.

sorry that i saw your post late as I'm really very very busy and tired working in the Mayo Clinic now. wish Larry a speedy recovery. you also need to take enough rest at this stage.

星期五中午出院, 梓皓未放學回來, 都未算忙, 梓皓放學返黎, 就開始忙忙, 而且梓皓有三日唔使返學, 我又岩岩出院, 呢幾日d時間好快過.....我要重新安排時間, 可能我係餵人奶, d時間仲難安排, 加上妹妹每餐都食住訓, 食得仲耐.......

妹妹有時食完一餐之後訓好耐, 整極都唔醒, 就算比佢食, 佢都唔食架.....攪到我有d擔心妹妹會唔會唔夠營養......

我而家仲未夠奶比妹妹飲, 每餐都要補少少奶粉, 而且個乳房有d硬硬地, 整黎整去都唔軟......

same here!
啱啱1個月前amelia傷風,then high fever,found out 扁桃腺發炎,之後少少疴&出疹,原來又有埋腸病毒! 佢一直低燒唔退,都幾worry呀.
好番10日,上星期3返完學沙聲,第2日鼻水+cough! 依家都仲coughing有痰冇返學,好擔心變asthma... 佢有鼻敏感氣管會弱d... 好彩冇燒.

larry出院未? 情况怎樣?

未恭喜你tim!! 你自己一個揍newborn+梓皓辛唔辛苦, 有冇人幫你呀?

餵奶方面, 你試下慢慢減少補奶粉, 要吮多d至可以多d奶, 越飲得多奶粉就越少刺激越少奶。個胸硬不如試下沖個熱水涼(我坐月都照沖)或者用d熱毛巾敷下, 加油啊!!
