What hospital do you plan on giving birth in? I think you can start attending childbirth classes 2 months before your due date. I didn't take any classes...I rather sleep...most of the classes were 3 hrs long. I noticed that most couples cannot agree on how many babies to have. If the wife wants 1, then the husband wants more...and vice versa...

The gas price in my area is about $2.7x/gallon for 91 octane. For a 3 bedroom rental in thousand oaks, it's around mid-$2000/month...I found it online. Gallon of milk in my area isd $3.94 for Albertson brand...$5.04 for brandname

I don't remembered having too much problem learning english because I was so young at the time. I was in ESL class for 6 months and then the teacher moved me back to the regular class. I just remembered the math was extra easy when I first got here. I think US school system is 2 yrs behind in terms of math.

我係以前做醫院時, 工傷...半夜女家屬同next bed男病人有爭執, 我去調停時被女家屬誤傷, 傷及lumber spine, 導致下身麻痺.. 幸得北京醫學院嘅教授, 來QMH 講課時為我針灸..
只可惜, 當我行番時, 佢已经要返北京....之後只睇physio,..但冇用, 係去melbourne之後..好在大學與中山醫學院係姐妹醫院... 有長註中醫...幫我做針灸同accupressure, 而家已好番好多...冇痛lu... 但未斷尾, 我想起咗我嘅病灶呢...就係dislocated咗嗰3節spine.. 咁,腰椎肌肉唔再受壓, 以後便冇腰痛...唔知cuite mom個中醫識唔識accupressure... 我要問1問先!

I will be giving birth in UCLA hospital, about 15 min drive from home. I have all my GP, OB and acupuncturist from UCLA.

3 hours per lesson???

If I attend after work, I will definitely fall asleep!

Have a good night of sleep after the injestion? :mrgreen: I have chronic backpain also, but not as bad as 下身麻痺. However, last month when I had not changed my sleeping posture, the backpain was just killing me - I could not sleep with it, and I could not get out of my car after driving! Lucky now is much better.

Then did u get compensation since it's 工傷???

When your baby kicks u, do u have a feeling that u want to go to the bathroom? Is it because she is kicking right on my urinary bladder? Anything I can do to avoid that feeling?

Natalie is not 高級 la, she's just lucky that my grandma stocks up on the chinese delicacy. One time, my grandma put "kam-wa ham" in the congee....even my husband wanted to eat some

I'm not sure what the dry duck gizzard is good for...my grandma just said they are very flavorful ?-( ?-( ?-( It's hard for me to just cook dinner 4 times a week and to think of what to eat and find time to prepare. When the baby is napping, I don't want to make too much noise chopping and cutting. If she wakes up...then more work for me again. So I always make simple things and wait for my husband to come home I start cooking

You're right, Natalie gets spoiled a lot by my family. When we have family gathering, somebody always offers to hold and play with her :-P :-P :-P It's good you will take care of Kurt yourself. It's hard work for the mommy but very beneficial for the baby. The baby will have more confidence.

UCLA is a very good hospital so don't worry too much about the epidural issue. When you feel the labor pain...you will forget all the risks involve.

It's normal that you have the sensation to urinate when the bb kicks...sometimes the bb can be laying on your bladder. One of my friend had that problem starting 1st trimester. For me, I didn't urinate frequently until the last mo.

Yes, you will have some uncomfortable feeling whe the baby is at the certain position and kicking you, you just need some time to get used to it, :wink: as the baby grow bigger, you will feel the kick more harder tim. heheeh :mrgreen: Try this technique:
hold your urge to pee(when your bladder is empty) do it while you are sitting down or lying down once a while to make your muscle gets stronger, you will see the benefits in the future gar.

I really hope the accupucture treatment will help you, let me know after you saw him, by the way, about Admanda's sleeping issue, is she teething with her molar? Check that out, my son was really painful for almost 2 mos when his molar was coming out and drove us crazy at night time too :cry:

Like the ped. said during the day time, they don't feel it because there are stuff distract them but when they are sleeping, that's when they start to feel the pain.

When my bb kicked me, I didn't feel need go to batheroom frequently but sometimes my stomach feel uncomfortable. ( like always full, so eat little portion but many times ) About the class, my class was a month class ( total 4 times, once per week ) They had snack and juice supply. Many sample supply. They have break time. The last part is do exercise ( how to breath when pain ) I also took Breastfeeding class. Interesting !

hee hee...@ 01年中,我已去睇古永康, 因為想要BB, 另一方法係'gui'正腳型...Dr.Koo係podi專科, 而家我只著4對brikenshock鞋.. so far ok la, 大肚時一見肚, chriopracter已經要我帶腰封, 帶到7-8月, 因為熱得滯, Amanda出世前幾日至冇帶, 醫生blame我冇帶腰封, BB因冇腰封suppose, 我個back俾唔到suppose Amanda, so 佢早4weeks 出世(water bag broken). 有Amanda 7-8個月, 我已多數卧床(backache), 喺Disneyworld嗰幾日, 我係坐wheelchair玩嘅呢!
以前做學生, 鬼識咁多?? 工傷..... finally我只求學校唔好delay我, 俾我跟自己班同學考試, 畢業, 我已經"All" "Li" "吉" "帝" 喇...仲敢要"陪"償咩...
