How about planning a "bookshops" trip together? The guy told me that he provides kids English books from UK and US, while comparing to KMK, KMK only sells US books mainly. I think both bookstores are similar, i.e. they sell bargain books...

I'm also interested in "bookshops" trip ... however, as my tummy grows soooo fast (now look like having a 5-6 months old baby instead of just 14 weeks)...

so I can't go with you guys arr... if you find any good 'books' there, please let me know the names... so that I'll order my 賓佬 (Joshua爸

) to go + buy...

Joshua starts to 'group' different 'alphabets' into words like C, A, T spells CAT... and I've started to let him watch lesson 1 (DWE) and he's happy with it too... together with jollyphonics, seems he is quite sensitive with the alphabets + the sound of vowels + consonants... therefore, I would like to buy some 'simple' reading books for him + his siblings... (u know I'll have 3 kids altogther soon

)

how abt any books teaching young children chinese words such as 日, 月, 太陽, 月亮, 星星, 狗... I would like to start teaching him these simplet words also... (+ putonghua too), any suggestion?

BTW, u said that ORT in SG is 20% less than HK price right? If I order it from Popular SG's web, will it be still abit cheaper than buying the ORT/OST in ETC in HK?

nn,

AliBB likes to climb and jump, 24 hrs non-stop... and I think it's better than Joshua to 搬 canned food + MDs + CDs ... anything he can reach + hide them in somewhere else that you do not know ...

If you can't find the things out, he will 收埋佢對手係後面+ smiling to you + shake his head...

If he is tired, he will take out the clips for hanging clothes + say 'V', 'A' if he put it in different directions... or put two clips together and say 'W' , 'M'...

and his favourite activity at home (most of the day time he's in por por's home) is 拆風扇 (ie take out the louvre, the 扇葉, the cap... parts )+ put them back in order... (if he can't fix it by himself, he will cry cry + cry )

(依家我地foresee 到佢好有興趣拆部DVD機... ) 你話係唔係大鑊d...

AliBB & Joshua 好利害呀, 識晒 A-Z, 我隻金仔望都唔望兩眼, 上次買左 clever dog 俾佢, 佢睇兩睇就唔睇喇, 睇 Nemo, Barney 個 d 書就睇, 一係睇有 animial 既書就睇得好耐, 隻隻書裹面既 animial 佢都識, 但 ABC 就

點樣 train up 佢睇呀

自問我係屋企時間唔多...冇mud教到佢...我唸係因為佢好鐘意phonics kids 有關...佢真係可以一日睇廿次都唔悶個d靚仔黎家

thus he knows all the alphabets, consonants + vowels (including short vowels lor)...

Joshua is very creative. About 拆 things, you should happy about that because you may have a sicentist. Have u read the news about Chan 易希, the boy who entered CU this year by 拔尖. Chan 易希 did the same when he was little and his mother encourged him with heart and $.

nn, thanks for your info.

I am not staying in Raffles, of course. My boss rented a flat (Sing 公屋 with HK 豪宅 size) in Huangang, a residential distinct. But I may have a chance to go to downtown during the weedend.
