May I ask for advice in getting those CNY costumes for the kids? I'd like more choices and maybe some special ones? Last year my hb bought one from BJ for no.3 girl and it was cute. But you know hbs, they do not really know about the sizes so the costume could already a bit small when he bough it......won't fit for this year! :wink:

唔好講賜教,只係我既孩子該比你地大,好多野比你地早行了幾步,兼且我有少少教學經驗姐.任何語言或技術想要有成就都係要"浸"返來.
英文同中文有d類似,但難度更大好多,第一佢地唔係first language會有抗拒,又懶記生字解釋同串法,第二英文字既用法太多,同一個字有好幾種常用既解釋,唔似中文字有多數相配既用法.
唔好介意我又要長篇大論:
呢種情形,通常我會用2種方法去溫,第一種要分theme,即係將同一topic既野歸類比佢溫,現在的書本大多用這類,for example,當課文出現 形狀,你就要同佢溫習star,circle,square,triangle.....這類字,但不可只集中講形狀,當你出填充題,你要出埋如:There is a fair in the town square.之類,咁佢就知道square既另一個用法.
第二種溫法係分詞類,分名詞,形容詞.......,for example,將課文出現過既形容詞抽出,再分類,例如將形容一個人既性格抽出,再出填充,比佢揀This is a kind man. He is a honest boy. She is a clever girl......如此類推.
希望你明我講咩.當然做咁多野係好哂時間功夫,但當你唸住做一次3個kid用,咁就好抵.....haha我成日都係阿q精神
My P5 boy is lagging behind in Chinese....well he can read and write, but exercise, no way, so he does very badly at exams. His Eng is better than his Chi, but he'll need to work very hard on Chi now, because of the results' impact for choosing Secondary school.....
Well, I would be supportive too...learning Chinese has become very fundamental and important for the future! We also changed from international school to a local school for my P5 (when he started P1), so Chinese has always been problematic (it is difficult, and he is lazy, again Eng is just a little easier for him as he could read before he reached P1). But now facing the F1 application time, he just cannot afford poor results for Chi...so I'm thinking of starting Kumon Chi and maybe get a tutor to help him....$$$
