Where can we buy the underwater cameras as mentioned in your 'notes'? It sounds as if we could buy on the spot..

How much Malay RAM would you exchange? WOw.. your notes highlight the fierceness of mosquitoes.....

Each of us should bring 6-7 t-shirts.. I think we may bring washing powder too just in case?!?

Need to buy travel insurance next week.

Any recommendation, buddies?

I will go to KK on July 3 and stayed at STAR hotel for 5 days. After you been to KK, no need change back the Malaysia $$, I can exchange the Malaysia $$ to HK$$.

Do you know the UA airlines have been cancelled the flight from HK to Tokyo ? Before I planned to USA and checked the air tickets from HK --> Tokyo --> Hololulu --> West Coast.
So, no flight to Hololulu now ?

I like to buy the travel insurance from HKPTU. Is it cheaper than DaoHang, I'm not to sure. But DaoHang is selling travel insurance at 50% discount now.

Does St Jo need students to learn one string instrument ? If you choose it and give up violin, maybe the school will ask you to learn again ?

I knew some kids learnt two instruments, so maybe you boy can manage it ga. (Cause some schools ask the students to learn instruments but they already learning the piano and don't want to give up). Of course, the progress maybe delay. For beginners, 30 mins is enough, but you need to let him practice using a piano bor (electronic is different, or digital is better if you don't have enough space).

Can we exchange MYR in HKD ? Seems it has foreign currency restrictions in the past and can't exchange bor. If this is the case, you need USD !!

if your boy has learnt volin for a year... just let him keep on playing volin and learn the piano... one string one organ ma and it should not take more than one hour to practise every day until he has reached a higher level. I'll let my girl to learn cello starting September.

I told you I regard the violin to be more difficult to learn. It would be a pity to give it up if TT can manage it well. In comparison piano is more mechanical in note-recognition.

Let him try 2 together first la, say during summer hols when he has less to do academically. Then see whether he can manage to have time to practise.

Piano lessons in the beginning is ~30 mins. But a lot depends on whether kid concentrates, whether he can sit still for longer than 30min.
My son's piano teacher dosen't mind overrun so much. She just covers everything then ends the lesson.
But I think if you go to a piano teacher or studio who has a tight schedule to follow then you cannot allow overrun so when time's up just kick you out.

Yi, checking with the receipt, for the water-melon, i gave you $65@, but the total is $140 for 2 box, that means $5 @ for the box bor. so iOU $5. How i can give it to you.

We opened the water melon, the taste good.

My son try the mango, it taste good as well. but most of them is still green, need to wait for 1-2 days.

We go to ShekKipMei 3pm - 5 pm from this coming Sat onwards !!
And piglet had his red belt exam today, the to-kuen performance was much better than during lessons. Kick was OK. Free-fight was poor but already better than before.
After the exam Sifu praised a few kids for doing well, and said piglet improved woh.

Piglet said it was a surprise to hear that from Sifu, and wanted to open his mouth wide to say "AHHHHHHH", but didn't dare !!

I think he can pass. But sifu also said some kid(s) could not pass woh.

And I told piglet, if he gets his red belt, and goes to ShekKipMei with the 10y+ red belts ==> will become a swollen pighead after free fight !!
The kids there are quite "long sei" !! :tongue:

Yes, we note that we need to exchange the Rm back to HK$ before departure. RMM's note is very informative!!

No matter where to exchange, i simply wish to see how much cash we need given no credit card acceptance in rural areas and so many goodies to buy too. : )

You are so prof in camera things. I ordered a case good for the SONY Cybershot la. hope it arrives in time. Now no need to buy other cameras.

Was the notes about KK prepared lately?. It mentions that an exchange shop in Central can exchange for Rm by advance appointment. Let me try to call tomorrow to verify.

Powder --> to wash cloths if we change cloths too frequently.. well some hotels may have such.

TT is v talented in learning string instrument.

Actually Kv has been learning violin for over half year but the result is....

Recently I change another violin teacher ($1200/4 lesson :-( :-( ), and it seems better... 唔通真係一分$$一分貨?

I will keep Kv learning both piano and violin at the moment, but I've got same worries as yours --> is it enough time for him to practise and handle both musical instruments at one time?

the above is correct as per the receipt. he writes $65 each and total is $140.00. that means he add the 2 boxes fee into total amount. i just saw $65 each so i paid you $65.00. and the second $65 is for the mangoes.

i need to pay back $5 to you la.

Piglet is very good bor, if he pass the red belt's exam, he really is big brother at TWD la.
