One on figures, diff generations, in diff families...

Another one
History, evolution, catalogues, bricks design & production. Theme introduction, Legoland, video game, brick art....

Jun has been keep on reading these since sunday...on the pictures only...not yet on the words...same for me

That's why I said I can't resist the temptation when I saw it...

$ supposedly to be paid by 3 instalments, only 1/6 of 72 flats paid up 1st instalment (incl me), then fewer and fewer paid for subs instalments, so flopped. Then 2 yrs later got a more $$$ estimate, and pushed thru cos by that time all the obstacles were nearly gone, and paid by 2 instalment which were 2 weeks away from each other. Anyway, everybody was prepared for several yrs, so could pay. But tender px was at max px, should have decided in 2002 / 2003 /2004 when everything was much cheaper. Orig est px was ~$160,000 then last yr it became $200,000+.

re : TKD
I think Au went to SKM cos SocforProt now costs $500/10 lessons/1h15m@, and only takes kids below 12y. Taught by Wong Sir so OK. Whether piglet stays or swap to SKM depends on time. Big pig wants to spare Sundays for walks (big pig + piglet only hehe). So may need to cram everything incl TKD to Sat.
What time is SKM nowadays ?

Haven't met Mrs. Au since early July, cos SocforProt did not allow parents to sit in room in 1/F since HSI, can only wait downstairs, and Au doesn't go to SocforProt on Sundays if he went to SKM that Sat, and he's now old enough to go around on his own.

And piglet is now P5, so may need to take some Chin and Engl writing lessons ==> may not be able to change TKD to Sat. Also has PTH lessons from 6 - 7:30pm in Whampoa. V time consuming to go from SKM to Whampoa !

The book is indeed very nice but quite heavy, beware of the shipping cost.

Bought these 2 recently too, can't find more on City or Castle topic, but only Knight Kingdom and Bionicle. Very simple reader, level for Jun, but still Lego is interesting all the time

This set is also vvv good, general science in comics. But ~$116 per book before discount (30% discounrt since publisher is again Dung Fong), but still quite expensive, as all TW books are !

You should try Sing Popular and Kino, both have a few (1 or 2). Or I can buy for you when I go next time.

And would you like me to pre-order the Lego Advent Calendar 2009 in Sing ? Then I can ask my cousin to deliver to your hotel when he collects the DVD. (Can order and have the Lego set delivered to my cousin's home first. Order ~4 days before you go.) But remember - need to buy S$100 to get free delivery. The Advent Calendar 2009 is cheapest in Sing. Usually not sold in HK TRUs. Yahoo px is around $3xx, whereas it costs US$29.99 from lego.com and same px S$39.90 in Sing lego shop.

Another alternative is to wait till ~end Oct then I place order and collect everything when and if I go in Dec 2009. Cos need to buy within 2m of taking them out of Sing in order to qualify for GST (tax) rebate in airport.

I'm flying with my colleagues, no over-weight problem, but how to pay? Pay you or your cousin? No GST claim but 10% off with your card, right?

then I don't need to carry boxes to attend evening dinner, will go anyway to the shop to get T-shirt
