等我都黎估估下先. (我最鍾意做推理, 又可以鍛鍊下個腦

)

首先搵到以下 definitions:
AC = abdominal circumference
FTA = fetal trunk area
EFW = estimated fetal weight
GA = gestation age

上下可能係同一個 snapshot 唔同位置嘅 measurement. (張相有冇劃咗 d 線?)

第一個 GA 相信係假設個 AC 係中位數 (50 percentile) 得出, 誤差有 15d (上) / 16d (下). 不過我睇 d web page 話唔應該用 AC 黎做 dating.

FTA 係由 AC 計出黎 (simple geometry). EFW 應該係由 FTA 計出黎.

後尾個 GA 就真係諗極都諗唔明.

最後個 percentile 就應該係以呢 pair EFW 同 GA 計的 percentile, 兩個計法都得到中上.

咪就係沒有如實反映身體狀況,
以致影響專業醫學判斷~

Hihi, Babytoe, I'm doing very good here! BB have to redo the structure ultrasound 2 weeks later because the ultrasound technician said BB was not too cooperative last time so some info was pending (the curvature of one pinky finger, the shape of the spine and possible echogenic bowel)... Fortunately it's covered by insurance otherwise it's US$700. I saw the BB's jer jer and I cried... I don't know why I cried though...

I have to buy a Chinese writing pad so that I can write Chinese here and also update BB's status on facebook.

Congratulations on getting to 6 month pregnancy! Only 16 weeks to go! I actually want time to fly for the coming few months! Have you applied for maternity leave yet?

I was able to guess all of them... except FTA....
my sister and I was wondering what good does FTA provide? I don't care about all these numbers for now. As long as the baby's developing properly and healthy, I am happy la.

Glad to hear things are going well. I'm sure the ultrasound would come out fine. Sounds like your ultrasound technician goes into very fine details and wants to be very certain about everything. Ours certainly did not go to that level of details. I'm sure she did count the fingers, but she didn't say it out loud like most mama's report.

Believe it or not, I actually want time to slow down! I'm comfortable with "24 weeks into the pregnancy", but "16 weeks left" freaks me out! The fact is hubby had some trouble with his leg and will not be fully mobile for a couple of months, which means we won't be doing much shopping until very late. :( (While online shopping is convenient, it still doesn't compare with checking things out in person.)

I still haven't talked to HR yet. It's probably time to do that.

The baby went on a kick-fest in the past half hour. Sometimes when he kicks, I feel like I'm about to get nauseous.

ahahaa.. no instinct. But I was hoping I'll be blessed with a girl. A couple of moms told me GIRLS ARE BETTER THAN SON!!!
Let's see how this baby goes, I do want another sibling for Emma~

yep... I get NO explanation of what the ultrasound technician was doing. She was aware this is my FIRST pregnancy.... NO talking... she told me to keep quiet and keep still... I didn't get to see the monitor either.
It was unpleasant experience... Crappy healthcare we have. Grrr!

Whatever will be, we'll be surprised! That's how mother nature intended it~
