yes, i have been to singfat, it is quite big and there is another one which is very very close to the major shopping centre, Bullring. it is small but i could buy most of the things here. namely, sun in supermarket (located next to the indoor market). i have been to another big chinese supermarket b4, namely, wingyip, they have a webpage

this one is big but not close to the citycentre. if i were u, i will go to sun in/singfat coz they are close to citycentre, you can also shop around...do u mind to tell me what do u want to buy?

yes, i just come here for 1 year. my daughter(26 months old)is attending a nursery here (whole day), i could drop her off/pick up anytime i want. theie official hours is from 8am-6pm. i used to drop her off at 9 and pick her up at 5pm. she is very dependent at home and very self centred, i want her to learn to be independent in the school. at least, she has to feed herself , unlike we used to spoonfeed her at home!!!she even refuses to hold her cup to drink water at home. my maid has spoiled her for all these days... actually,my daughter learns all her cantonese from my maid, she is an indonesian. but i realise that she doesnt speak cantonese as she gets older and older. b4, she would respond to my maid in cantonese, she doesnt like to speak cantonese anymore now..
the fee for my daughter now is 160pounds per week, that's why i always complain about the expensive school fee here.(more than 600 pounds per month) but i hv surfed the info of nursery b4 i came here, if you would like to find those with better or newer facilities, the fee are probably similar.

the fee of my daughter is for all the people, actually the fee is cheaper for student already becoz it is run by the university...
previously, i also thought of putting my daughter in the nursery for half day and then take care by my maid afterwards. as i dont want my maid keeps thinking that i cant live here without her, so when she makes me really mad sometimes, i keep reminding her that i could sack her anytime i want coz she is not helping me very much here. besides, my daughter likes her very much, i dont want to put them together for most of the time.
