If you need to buy diaper/baby food, buy them at Walmart and usually it is cheapest unless there is sale in other places. But mind you that we only have Pampers, Huggies and no brand names. For baby food, we have Heniz, Gerber , Nestle and other US brands.

Doggie

I don't turn on my house alarm at night. Coz, my dog is my first line of defence. We took the dog for some security training when he was one. (Which I was amazed the instructor teaches the dog only bite between the thighs

) The dog is so alarm for strange noise that even bark for door bell coming from the TV.

i am looking for condo to buy, after calculating for $2000 for rent, i only pay about half for monthly mortage. there's no condo for sale at bonis, where i'm currently living, any good suggestions for which area is ok. thanks.

Thanks for your info. Where do you live(region)? I used to live in Toronto (North York)for 8 yrs and came back to HK for almost 7 yrs now. I make this trip becoz I need to renew my driver's licence. I'm quite worried about the long flight, taking a 16-month old naughty son with me, can't imagine if he keeps crying or running around. Any good tips? How old is your child?

isn't those condo expensive? CKKWKL, do you need to consider the school board too? (for your girls). When my godchildren move... they have to think which school they wish to go... and pick those area.

你個license 幾時expired? 如果係今年過期, 個renewal policy 話可以下年renew 都可以 ( 一年 "寬容" 期) .....我個license 都係expired 左之後既一年先返去renewed. 咁你就可以等你仔仔大d先返去...但我唔知呢個policy 有冇改變!

I used to live in North York for 6, 7 years and just moved to Richmond Hill last year.

my baby is doing fine. It keeps kicking too. Dr said it is a girl but I am afraid she will be really a "monkey girl"... so naughty.

ckkwkl,
I thought there should be a lot condo on market in North York. I think school zone is pretty important if you have children. Either going to Richmond Hill or stay in North York. Check www.mls.ca

Oscar,
I prefer a doctor near my house then even when I am not available, my parents could bring the baby to visit the doctor. I may try Dr. Gerald Ho. Thanks!

ckkwkl - i heard from my god children saying Union High is a good school (but in Unionville) and people try to move to there in order to go to that school...

Amy - I do see my godchildren every sunday... (after their sunday mass).. if the weather is o.k. this weekend, will start going to the park for praciticing the soccer

i have heard of unionville high too. my sister moves to unionville so that her son can go to unionville public, then unionville high a few years later.

i talk with my husband, he said find a smaller condo around scarborough area as i am working there and the babysitter is living there. he said will move north and a bigger house two years later when he is back.

secondly, i don't want to be living too close to my sister, as she will "lo fung" ask you to babysit her son on saturday and sunday, no matter you are willing or not. frankly speaking, i don't like her son, or can say i hate him :-x :-x :-x if he is not my nephew, i will call for police :-x :-x :-x

I think 神燈 closed... If you like Indian food, highly recommand "Cuisine of India" near North York Centre. Love it!

My 婦產科 doctor is Dr. Man-Fan Ho. He is in the same building of Dr. Shuen.

If Dr. Gerald Ho is okay, I may try him. Quite a few people recommand Dr. Richard Wong, but I am afraid it is a little too far...
