I got a slider (rocking chair) from Toys R Us last year when it was on sales. After the coupon is about $90... then with tax and everything it's a bit under $100. It's a bargain price! :) Though I don't use it that much anyway. The chair is in bb's room but I may feed baby downstair in the living room or my room etc. I usually feed him on the bed or sofa anyway. I think I should have got myself a massage chair instead. :D Though a massage chair will be more costly but it may be more useful for me in the long run.

I am new here, but so glad to know this forum...... I used to lived in Brooklyn 18 Ave too, Nillie_Mami. But I moved to NJ like about year and half ago cause I couldn't affort the house price in Brooklyn ma. After settle down in NJ, everything works out great, my hubby works like 5 mins drive from our house and my office is about 30 mins from home and I learned how to drive as well :). Nice to meet you guys here!!!!

Yeah, school is one of the main reason that we decide to move to NJ and we at least have a front yard and back yard for KTV to run around, we are waiting for the weather to get better so we can put out the swing set that we brought last year in the back yard so KTV can play. But cost of living in my nightborhood is not cheap, the pre-school I want to send KTV to cost 1000+ a month, so we have to wait maybe next year when she is 3 years old to send her there :cry:
I have a friend used to be RN in New York too, and now she's movied to NJ as well and working in NJ as well, so I guess it shouldn't be hard to get the RN in NJ. GOOD LUCK ar!!
I have 2 kids, my little princess KTV, she just turn 2 this March, and I have a little prince KEV, next month he will be 1 year old la.... NJ house is cheaper if you consider that space you gonna, our house is about 500K with 3 bedrooms 2 bath, garage, drive way and we have front and backyard, you can't buy anything like this in the same price range in NYC. Learning to drive is very important though, at least you can go anywhere you want without asking the hubby to drive you. I always go shopping during my lunch hr at work, Rockaway mall is like 10 mins away from my office :). I like it here..... I also go to my downtown office once a week and it's close to chinatown, so I don't miss out any yummy food in chinatown and can pick up some yummy snack for my KTV too. Nice to meet you ar!!!!!!

返 4歲 pre-K 都係$600/month (X11個月學費), 已經係最貴嗰間天主教(1條龍上到 Year 12)..
over $1000/month.. 真係好難付担

My parents help me to take care of the kids, they are living with us, a bit "ma fan" but then they really helped a lot but since they don't drive, so they are kindda trap in NJ and can't really go anywhere, too boring for them la. Yeah, maybe I can bring the kids out for the gathering..... :lol:
I failed the road test in Brooklyn too ar, that's like um..... 3 or 4 years ago... hehe, but then I took some classes in NJ again and it's so much easier in NJ, it's "road test" is done in a big lot with no other traffic. If you move to NJ, it will be a lot easier ga
it's 天主教, I think it's from like 7am to 5pm monday to friday. Government is free, but you have to be 5 yrs old though. Yeah, it is very expensive, but it's already the cheapest around the arear. I can bring the kids with me to my work and put them in the day care center here, but there is a waiting list and I have to pick them up at 3:30pm and they will have to stay with me untill I get off which is like about 5:30pm 6pm. So me and hubby decide to put her there next year. Now my mom is taking care of them and my dad is helping out, so it's ok la!!
