Amanda 男仔頭都好過Marcus吖! 我個仔鍾意 hair clip,夾咗仲話"弟弟好靚". 沉晚仲大鑊,囉咗Candace條粉紅心心睡褲擺上頭,叫我地睇.話自己係白雪公主喎!

我而家"shop"緊pre-school 比Marcus. 間間都$1000 a month.比Candace以前貴$50-$100. 要小心考慮location,要方便我 & 老公接放學.

呢边啲屋真係好貴! 老公有個喺H.K.時由細玩到大慨鄰居而家住Maryland. 99年買間全新屋 about $250,000. 有2700呎(未計basement),super long driveway 可泊 6 cars. Lot size 1/2 an acre. It's now worth about $600,000. 她見到呢度啲屋&價錢,話痴綫wor!

Nice to meet you ar! Yeah, it's good to have parents to help out but it's troublsome sometimes. Sometimes things they do and I can't really comments..... and I sandwich between my hubby and my parents, it's hard too.... but then they all love the kids but just have different opinions on things..... but grandparents are so kind to the kids so whenever I give time out to KTV, she would cry and cry and scream for PorPor....

嘩! Amanda 係鐘意 short hair 架!! 成日話返Uncle John 喥"chop chop my hair" 喎! 佢要日日用power ranger 嚟 "lo" 飯... 救命呀!!!!

我哋屋企就40X100.. 2 families + basement 就42萬5仟, 但係2手, almost 30年樓咯.. 磚屋.. dead end.. 可以任泊.. 而家都值 6-70 萬(government 話囉!) 後yard BBQ 同gathering, 小朋友玩沙, 電動車, 玩水, trampoline
..真係一流..

2-family is good, so you can rent out one apt to help out on mortgage. Our house is not new either, it's probably 50 years old, not much new house in my neightborhood, new construction is about 1M which I can't affort without winning the lottery

I don't have a basement either and I would love to have one so I don't have toys all around my living room and dinning room, it's toys EVERYWHERE! My house is in a closed circle as well, so no one will drive in unless they live here. I have friends live in SI too, but I don't like the commute and toll are expensive ar.
Yeah, count me in for the gathering.... ever since I become a mother, I don't really have friends anymore.... no social life at all beside a few close friends that talk on the phone very once in a while. Sad.... :-(

staten island resisdent 過toll行 staten island橋用Ezpass 就$4.8, car pool $2.25.. 如果由 new jeresy 返staten island or 過 tunnel 去NYC car pool 都係1蚊.. 我就覺得ok..
at least 住島有前後yard, 冇咁多黑人同墨西哥人.. 冇咁多 crimes..
啲人口冇咁密.. 對人態度都好啲..
don't worry.. 我哋有班1-2歲嘅娃鬼... 有almost 10個, 要見齊人gathering.. 真係好high架!
8月 Eddy仔同Amanda 生日, 年年都會一齊攪BBQ..
from now to 6-7月未必有gathering, 因為Mavis, Jayne, Rachel,同 babygigi 生BB.. 要各靚媽咪坐完月至有gathering 咯!

我係去costco買尿片... 平啲嘛.. although, Huggies/Pampers 寄 $5 off coupon 俾我, 咁我就會去target/walmart 買尿片

I usually buy diapers from Target, and sometimes from Toysrus/Babiesrus, I like target, because if you have target coupon and MFR coupon and buy the diapers when it's onsale, it's a lot cheaper. I always stock it up when it's onsale. Super market like Stop and Shop has it onsale then I will use mfr coupon to stock it up too. You can buy from CVS aswell, the house brank (CVS diaper) is pretty good too, KTV loves the CVS training pants because they have "bear in the big blue house", she loves "dai bear bear". But a lot of times, I buy a lot when it's onsale to save money, same thing for wipe too. Costco only has huggies baby shape though... I like to use supreme more, but it doesn't make a big difference though :) we are trying to potty train KTV..... still trying!

因為Gabriel 得3個月大, 用huggies regular 都ok, as次次餵BF都換片.. Amanda 1歲之後到介片前嘅夜片都係huggies supreme.. 又厚又滑..
KTV.. add oil 啊! Summer 快到, 係介片時候囉!

話時話.. suppose April Shower.. 但今個weekend又落雪..唉!

It's hard to potty train, she won't tell us when she wants to go and we have to keep on reminding her to go like every hr, and sometimes we forgot and she just p on her diaper..... and it's hard to get her to do No. 2 as well..... I tried just put underwear and no diapers, but then unfortunately she had diarrhea that day, made a mess but thank GOD she wasn't in the bed room (we have WHITE carpets in the rooms) then we put the diaper back on.... ai!!!
BF is goooood.... I BF kev too, but not ktv and I wish I did! but now kev is like a all night nurser..... tough being a mom..

Will you bring Nat Nat to studio to take 1 yr old photo? I am still not sure I should 攪 birthday party for Kaden. I don't have much friends esp friends with kids anyway. It would be bored for older people (some uncles/aunties -- family friends live in my area) to join a baby's party. So, I will see. One of my friend said she wants to help me out getting Kaden's 1 yr old party prepared. She seems more excited than I am. Her daughter had the bday party 6 months ago and she got all the party supplies and baked a cake as well.

BTW, Nat Nat's Chinese look photo (in her website) ho cute bor!

Your husband work in post office ah? Is it very hard to get the job? I would like to work in post office too... but heard it's hard to get in.

Talking about house price. I wish we can relocate to somewhere with lower housing price. Bay area's house price is too expensive compare to a lot of other states. Not much money left after each month's mortgage. :-( But my husband like to live in CA. He said he doesn't want to move to somewhere cold. I did mention to him that Chicago's house price is cheaper and it's a city... but he said the winter is too much for him. Oh well... I have many friends in Chicago mah... It would be lovely to live in a single house with big front & back yard!

My son's name is KADEN too.......

He is a preemie, otherwise he will be about the same age as your son!! OMG, can't believe this!!!
I had the same problem with KTV's first birthday, we had a party for her anyway, it turns out pretty good, it was in early march, and it was really warm that day, so we had a last mins BBQ party instead. It was great, and there were only like 2 little kids and all other are adults but it turns out fine (we only had friends over, we had a seperate party for families, more tranditional one)

Nat Nat's pictures are REALLY cute, you probably took it in HK right, the chinese studio here for family pictures are very expensive, I usually take them to Sears or Picture People.

I have to go to a business trip next week, have to leave the 2 little monster home for 5 days :-( don't know how KEV will react to it since I am still BF him....

日間小朋友介尿片
-正如我每一次所講, 小朋友每一個都係獨一無二..所以, 如有出入, 唔駛担心...當小朋友心智,體能準備好, 就係時候介片..
以下係表示小朋友已準備好可以介片嘅訊息:
一. 小朋友明白字面解釋—如小便, 急唔急, 去厠所,..etc.
二. 小朋友可以hold到2個鐘頭小便.
三. 小朋友識嗌 “急尿” …就算遲咗, 都係好嘅, 因為佢有意識—尿急.
四. 小朋友可以無需協助自已著同除褲
五. 小朋友可以無需協助自己踏上厠所腳踏
如果以上五點都做到… 你個小朋友已經準備好喇!

1.夏天介尿片比冬天好, 因為小朋友開頭介片, 時有失手.. 好易凍親. 夏天就算濕咗, 換衫都易啲!
2.擇日--- 哈!哈!…係揀假期… 同小朋友去shopping…買一本(星期曆) 同可愛超細貼紙… 如果唔想買, 可以share大人個月曆俾小朋友掛喺佢自己嘅地方同用maker畫公仔代替貼紙公仔
3.同小朋友解釋,點解以後唔著片, 有小朋友會好抗拒, 做父母就唔好強行同佢介, 咪佢一疴濕褲仔, 就會好嬲大人令佢出羞,亦好嬲自已唔爭氣…如果介片時, 小朋友有壓力, 就只會 [事倍功半]
4.頭幾日介片不宜外出, 因為出一轉街可能會濕幾次… 因為小朋友會冇安全感, 所以, 明明未急, 但都會濕咗褲仔.(心理障礙)
5.每2小時嗌小朋友去小便一次, 急唔急都要 ‘排空膀胱’ , 尤其係佢集中精神睇電視, 玩玩具, 遊戲, 睇故事書, 一定要帶佢入厠所同坐一陣厠所, 就算真係冇小便都冇防. 之後教佢沖厠同洗手
6.如果小朋友喺厠所小便就獎勵小朋友, 貼一個貼紙或劃一個公仔上去星期曆上
7.當日晚上, 就喺晚餐時mention 當日有幾多次成功… 等小朋友嘅爸爸好開心咁稱讚小朋友
***小朋友鐘意人讚, 切忌挑佢有幾多次失敗….***
***當濕褲仔, 要正面, 一.要立即更換衣服, 二.要同小朋友解釋, ‘意外係會發生, 下次我哋再早小小去厠所小便咯, 仲有下次就算只有小小急都話俾大人知,立刻去厠所!’ ***
***介日間尿片時, 夜晚要繼瀆用片啊!, 因為日頭,小朋友巳有唔小壓力, 不宜同時介夜片, 因為只會苦咗大人同小朋友, 你只會不停同佢換衫換床單, 想介夜片, 宜待小朋友介掉日間尿片2星期, 而一晚通宵, 小朋友都冇濕片, 先好開始試

好多chinese 新移民都考 mail carrier, 好易入..
at beginning 做PTF (part time Flexible), 之後一有空缺就會升做regular..
但做 post office 要有driver license 囉!

可以嘅話唔好餵formula 喇..
我而家 train 緊Gabriel 用bottle.. and stock up 咗百幾包frozen expressed BF待我返工時, milk flow 跌, Gabriel 仍然可以做人奶B, 我繼續做乳牛媽媽
但Gabriel 仲係唔係好肯食 bottle 個teat..
Rachel佢哋都知我有幾苦惱
