Just finished reading 《不懂嚼骨的新一代》─ 鄧藹霖. Good book for parents.

I got both books (firewall , faceless killer) from library last week.

I've just started to read Firewall (still in first few chapters). Again the story begins with excellent plot development intertwining with distinctive characters. Worth reading!

I used to buy lots of books. Really bookaholic! All my bookshelves are fully occupied! I've to control myself and keep on reminding me not to get anymore books home! So now I usually visit public library every week to borrow books for my kids.

Reading "Something Borrowed" now - haven't read Emily's novel before. But I know this novel has been made into film - I hope it will be a good book to read at night.

I like the novel of "something borrowed", I will read "something blue" next when I get the book from library (need to make a reservation)
In the meantime, I am reading "The Help" now

Just finished "Firewall". Another wonderful story!

Start reading " faceless killer". Actually the author is an ingenous writer of crime story. I'm planning to reserve all his "Wallander series" in sequence.

我早幾日去過賣二手英文書的"flow 流動風景", 老闆話業主要收樓係度做多個月就要搬, 依家仲未找到地方搬呀, 佢叫我到時來的時候打個電話上去睇下佢地搬左去邊喎~

聽到個老闆咁講都安心d, 即係佢地都繼續做, 我幫襯佢地二手英文書店一年左右啦, 係有次無端端比我見到, 以前係中環返工都唔知有間二手書店係度, 都依家轉左工作地點先見到, 所以都係幾個月先去一次~

老闆話可以拎d舊英文書去換書再補錢架, 我上次拎左十幾本英文書過去, 有五本係新書, 其餘果d係二手書有部份係之前係佢果度買, 都可以換到$70用來買佢地d書再補錢~ 果度好多英文小說架, 有部份都好似新一樣, 有時可能找到d新出版架書, 果度d小說其實有近一半係public library 借唔到, 我比較留意chit lit, public library 少d呢d書, 同埋果度都有d 二手兒童圖書, 不過太散太雜我無咩心機找, 之前買過一本hardcover 的書比我個仔睇, 大細仔打架搶來睇, 不過真係撞手神, 岩岩去睇都睇唔岩兒童圖書~

果度d書大約市價的書一半, 最高一半, 最低廿幾蚊, 視乎本書新舊程度. 我去果度買書係因為有d書我想睇的書會翻睇兩三次, 如果係public library借有時限又唔比你續借兩次, 所以有部份想睇的書都係去果度買, 另外一d只係想睇下就算就係public library借~

我呢兩個月睇左好多本書呀, 最勁都係終於睇哂"twilight"四本書, 勁好睇, 買左成一年終於"的"係心肝睇哂佢, 睇完仲要睇vcd, 又去public library 借有聲書返來聽, 比我老公話我有咩咁好睇, 我話總之好好睇, vcd都睇左幾次, 我仲係bookdepository訂左movie companion(因為有九折coupon)~

我仲睇左 mitch albom 的" tuesday with morrie" 同埋 "one more day", 好好睇好感人, 本書百幾二百頁左右, 用左兩晚陪個仔訓時睇完一本, 唔怪得之咁多人recommand呢本, 特別係"one more day" 講主角掛住媽咪, 搞到我都掛住我阿媽添, 不過主角的媽咪已經唔係度, 我媽咪仲好好中氣話我湊個細仔唔好~

前日睇完"In office hour" by Lucy Kellaway, 呢本書其實早一年都出左版架啦, public library唔見有呢本書, 我係dymock見佢賣二百幾蚊, 依家見到連三聯都有得賣, 細本d係新出架, 原價百二蚊左右好似, 我係係bookdepository買架, 六十幾蚊. 聽個書名同埋見到書cover都知佢係講office love, 不過結局梗係唔好架啦, 但都幾interesting, 當休閒書睇都幾好睇~

睇《Something Borrowed》時我唔係咁鍾意 Darcy, 但睇《Something Blue》時, 我對Darcy 改觀...

正在看[Firewall], 已預訂[Faceless killer].
Mankell 的故事，每每有不同的案例，罪犯的目的不一，Wallander 次次在備受壓力的情況下破案，真的引人入勝。

自 Mankell 筆下，也看到北歐人生活的一面，每日三餐咖啡（or 水 ) + 三文治 (or pizza), 真得非常沉悶，更不用說漫長的冬天，我一定受不了。

Under the pen of the Mankell, he created a talented inspector "Kurt Wallander". Wallander has his special talent in tackling with the complicate cases. Apart from the case investigations, Wallander was very emotional and felt desperate and loneliness after separation with his ex-wife Mona / girl friend Baiba.

Throughout Mankell's Wallander series, we aware the simple living style (or we regarded as bored) of Swedish. Coffee + pizza / hamburger / sandwich + salad!

By the way, the author always empathesized the happening of various homicides or serious massacre, actually reflected the problem in Swedish democracy and social welfare system.

Mankell had written 8 novels about Wallander starting from Faceless killer (date from: Jan 1990). The 9th novel - "The Pyramid" was the final instalment about Kurt Wallander with few investigations dated back before Jan 1990.

很久沒發言.看了本孫浩元寫的"褒姒的詛咒"(簡體字).絕對兒童不宜.因為幾血腥暴力加色情.神秘殺手將受害人處以中國古代酷刑 --剥皮,杖刑,腰斬,炮烙.....,一一施在受害人身上,作為對他們的懲罰.

又看了隻碟"accused",看看片中主角所犯罪行,究竟是guilty or not guilty,真是難以下斷及判決出乎意料,我估你們會喜歡看.
