I hope he will understand, and hubby gets to know how tired it is for me to do it everynight while he is sleeping like a pig on the other side of the bed. But he has no problem to let him keep on crying and crying though.... poor KEV

gum arm geh.. your son yau hai Kaden! :D I haven't meet another Kaden yet so yours is the first one! :D I don't have any direct family here so I am still not that sure whether I will hold a birthday party for my son yet. I feel so lazy to prepare for all those. I don't think a 1-yr-old baby will have much memory anyway. Thought it's more for taking photo and video so he can see it later when he grow up.

Really, that easy for the USPS test ar? I heard an "auntie" in my area said it's very competitive to apply for a position tim. More like "iron rice bowl" and get off of work on time and good benefit. I do have driver license. :)

Wah you gals can stock up so much expressed bresttmilk! I at most can pump out like 11-12 oz (my max record) a day jar. Anyway, I feed formula more than expressed breastmilk coz I dont' have much. In the first few month, Kaden would let me BF him directly, later on, he cry out so bad and only take bottles. He has no problem to take different types of bottles though (Pigeon standard, Dr Brown standard, Avent wide-mouth).

I didn't really bring Kaden to studio to take his solo protrait before. We only went to Sears one time for family protrait (to make photo xmas card) with those Sears coupon. I may bring Kaden to JCPenny for photo later on (coz of the coupon). I saw Picture People's are pretty nice but I thought it's expensive so I didn't try. I take photo for my son everyday at home though. I will see if I gonna invest a DSLR camera instead. :)

CA同NY 唔同架.. CA一百幾十個人搶一個郵局位做... 果陣我SISTER/BROTHER 讀COLLEGE時都有考過﹐稔住做PART TIME﹐話要記好多野同埋考ZIP CODE都考鬼死﹐噤多地區... PASS左會CHK DRIVING RECORD﹐我細佬DRIVING RECORD唔PASS所以無得做﹐我SISTER PASS左但果時佢都U GRAD出黎做野LU..
AS I REMEMBER 有HIGH SCHOOL畢業證書就考得﹐如果係U GRAD多一個MAJOR就多一份人工﹐識既語言都係﹐識多一種又多一份人工噤囉.. 以前有個同事(都7-8年前)一入去起薪點已經$2600 因佢DOUBLE MAJOR同識4種語言...佢果陣40歲﹐話做多10年就食長糧退休囉.. 所以D人咪話係鐵飯碗...

我第一胎坐月都係自己黎﹐奶奶幫下手整2餐同有時燉下湯。果時我都有自己再燉野食... 第一胎老公有請2wks 假﹐之後WALK IN AND OUT OF HIS OFFICE。呢胎我都係自己黎﹐我屋企人執定晒D坐月湯包寄過黎噤自己可以一包包燉﹐唔使噤煩... 奶奶都會整兩餐噤... 老公應該唔會請到上次噤多假啦﹐SUMMER忙。如果細呢個係難湊既BB﹐可能我地會比大仔START PRESCHOOL EARLIER囉...

Do you know what's the salary for the mail processing type of USPS job? I don't see a salary guide in their site for their "Mail Processing Jobs" section. I find some Corporate Jobs that seems good (they have a salary range there) but no opening in my area. Seems that those on the site for "mail processing" jobs are all entry-level? I guess if someone never work in the post office before will all considered as entry-level for the non-corporate job? USPS retired jor yau 長糧食 gar? gum ho!

I can't find the salary range for the mail processing jobs in their website. Do you know where I can find the information? I briefly browse the site and seems that people can click there and get a package for the exam material. Though I am interested to know the salary first before I click on getting the information about the exam. I guess salary will be higher in the private sectors but then USPS may provide better benefits and more stable (do they layoff people?). Their IT jobs (under Coporate Job section in usps.com) looks good but no opening in my area. Otherwise I would try to apply.

I would like to apply those City or Government job too but seems that those job only consider citizen. I am not qualify to apply for citizenship yet...

50歲食長糧退休, so early??

By the way, is yr pedi nearby? Can you suggest one?My hubby's relative suggest one but that's in Manahattan. I think it's quite far... and not convenience in case the baby need consultation. We don't hv a car ma.

係有background嘅人至會做郵局10年可以食長糧.. otherwise, 冇background (e.g. 冇做過軍人, police or other 功積滿20年) 係要喺

ost office做30年至有長糧架!

考zip code只係考memory, 如果你喺香港時, 有參加過小六嘅升中評核試就ok la.. same thing

Also, 所有人一開始想入post office, 係去考PTF mail carrier先, 最易settle 同有位. Salary as a mail carrier 係 about USD18-19/ hour.. overtime +night shift可以去到USD40/hour

Many of government jobs 係fair!! Green card 同 citizen係 make no difference, otherwise 你可以告佢discrimination 架!

要揾政府工-- 去 workforceone 嘅web site, 佢哋會有所有 government 同大公司嘅工任你揀, 又會 provide free course 再陪訓.. 去check check 喇!

我Enfamil 同Similac嘅 formula 俾晒 so cloudy個同事, 佢baby 係 formula BB.. also, 我俾晒啲formula coupon佢同事( as 我屋企係2 family, so 我apply 2 份), 咁佢同事可以慳好多架!

各位....講開postoffice>..其實我老公都係做postoffice呀, 不過呢..我老公係manhattan番工, nellie老公係nj番...大家既人工好唔同架..nj多人工好多架...因大家既contract係唔同架...nj果邊好似最近仲fright緊加3%呀..做manhattan真係唔好架..少好多人工架...
不過係ny做postoffice..係唔洗有highschool cert..只要有greencard同埋有效既工作正都得架啦..有backgruond係有多d分架..易入d..同埋而家test..係唔洗記zip code架..不過要test過對錯咯..佢有本書出架..可去book shop搵. 你地得閒可去usps.com睇下有冇open咯..有就用ssc既no#去register 個test..佢會寄野比你啦..我有test過一次..不過得70幾分..哈哈..有位都唔到我啦...要90幾先快入架..
mail carrier易入..係因為比較辛苦咯..因成日出街啦..snowing都要去..做mail handler就係入面做..好好多架..仲有..係唔洗要driverｌｉｃｅｎｓｅ都得架．．唔知第二度係點啵．．．ｎｙ唔洗．．．不過呢．．ｍａｉｌ　ｈａｎｄｌｅｒ．．ｍａｉｌ　ｐｒｏｃｅｓｓｉｎｇ係少好多人工呢．．ｂｅｎｅｆｉｔ比好多出面公司好ｄｄ啦．．但ｍｅｄｉｃａｌ　ｉｎｓｕｒａｎｃｅ都要比架．．好似我ｆａｍｉｌｙ咁．．個個月都要成１００ｕｓｄ架．．ｆａｍｉｌｙ　ｐｌａｎ咯．．至平果隻啦．．如成日有ｏｔ咪好咯．．冇就．．．．都係好少錢．．ｏｔ係計１．５架．．仲有係．．多假咯．．．有成個月架．．ｓｉｃｋ　ｌｅａｖｅ好似都係一個月兩日．．講住咁多先．．要ｆｅｅｄ　叻叻
