i notice that many resellers just sell the bag without selling other non leathers items....where all the non leathers go? or resellers can just walk in to buy bags without other items?

其實我識得一班 banker 太太團係專賣 H 水貨，開初係有少少零用錢賺，但長遠黎講發現唔work，都無乜點再做了... 同佢地傾過，大約原因如下：

1）首先，你要好忍到手自己唔要啲靚袋（呢個係最難！）
2）最賺錢係b/k/c，但每年既b/k/c quota 唔多，所以亦唔多貨賣出
3）如果唔係去外地買，咁就要喺本地H shop 洗唔少錢先買到，但洗得咁多錢既話，又不會志在蠅頭小利，本地買既side products，好多時要蝕讓先賣得出
4）即使去外地買，如果係專職走水貨，坐經濟艙行李寄艙有重量限制，手提又可以帶到幾多上機呢？如果坐商務，機票酒店咁貴又蝕水...
5）搵下線幫手買，成本又增加，變相賺少左

不過當然唔排除有人有辦法賺到錢，總會有叻人計數叻，但長遠實際賺幾多就唔知了... 我就計唔掂了

另外，除左去shop spending，其實仲有辦法買到b/k/c既，就算係exotic leather 都可以買到... 例如 AE 黑咭、citibank ultima 咭、Vertu VIP 等等，總之所有標榜「夢想成真」、「專貴服務」既CS，都可以幫你買到既... 佢地會全球咁幫你source，當然要收服務費同運費啦... 只不過... 當你有能力去到呢個 level 既時候，相信你都已經唔志在進貢H買side products 既錢了～

you bought it in hk? no money to earn if you buy in hk becoz the resell value is not that good. You might find it difficult to get back the original price.

I saw a gold b30 on shelf in San Francisco, around 5 years ago? One of my friends also got her first birkin there just by walk in, simply ask the sa if they have any b. And the sa brought the gigantic orange box out from the back... I guess it has to do with the economy in USA during that time?

I guess its mainly because of the culture of the North American and they are not as crazy as the Asian in brand names. Further their list price is also much higher than Europe and you also have to add at least like 10% for sales tax. So i am not surprised if sometimes their hot bags dont move too fast
