Just successfully using IP Cam in my office to montior my home, it is quite difficult to set. But anyway, if anyone are interested, perhaps I may help.
I use DLink Router about $400, and Level One IP Cam (wire) about $2800. Once set it using computer, no need to turn on computer for monitoring. My IP Cam can be controlled to move, and I am using Netvigator, the IP address is changing (Dynamic IP)

If the IP is always changing, how do you know the IP when you are back office? It's a little bit expensive, so I would like to make sure it is workable. Thanks for your advice.
