I checked the Yaumatei one anyway - for buffet lunch they charge between $170 & $230, depending on the chosen menu. It would be on their 5/F function room which can fit max 100 people. If we want the Grand Ballroom on 2/F then we need to have at least 100 adults and charg is between $190 & $250.
They have tea party as well which starts from 3pm - 5pm. Price is $140 on 5/F & $170 on 2/F.

I have not seen the function room so don't know about the quality......just know that they have recently renewed the Grand Ballroom.

any comment? If we want to do it at club house then the venue might not be so convenient......If we do it at MK/TST price would be a bit more....

I called up "my Gym" yesterday. They will charge HK$3,500 for room rental , including 1-2 instructors to teach the BBs to play the facilities there . It lasts for 1 hr 45 mins . And no drink and food is allowed . So don't think it's a suitable place for Halloween party . Better search for other ones

Brbaby, pls don't count me in in the helpers list. I almost forget that 26 Oct is one of my best friends' BIG DAY . I will need to be a "sister" , so may not be able to join the Halloween party . Sorry ... But if i find a good place to gather , will still suggest to you guys

I checked Eaton Hotel in Yaumatei/Jordan area as well - they charge $175 net (sorry forgot to say YMCA has extra 10% service fee) for a function room on 1/F. The room is t-shaped but I think it's quite spacous. Food menu is similar to that of YMCA (pls don't expect too much though). Any comment?

oh and that function room can hold max 100ppl / 9-10 round tables.

do you think we should start limiting the number of ppl enrolled? I was thinking max 30 families so around 90 - 100ppl, easier to handle?
