My water broke at 27 week, i stayed for 3 weeks and bb was born at 30 weeks. another mummy water broke at 18 weeks, she stayed for 8 weeks till bb was 26 weeks. and now, bb is very healthy and pretty. so you can also do it.
if the CRP (the infection rate) is high, higher than 5 as far as i can remember, you have no choice, the dr will take the baby out. just do whatever they ask u to do. i saw another mummy, water broke at 19 or 20 weeks, suddenly got high fever, she felt very cold and kept shaking even with 5 blankets. after a short while, she was sent to ICU. BB was gone and i guess the mummy is fine, at least i can't see her in the newspaper.
your target is that bb can still till 24 weeks (or at least 23 weeks) then bb can come out lively and dr will rescue them. many bb can survive even they were born much earlier than normal.
dunno what to say, i went throught it. it was tough. but not much you and the dr can do (other than giving you antibiotic). when it happened to me, i told myself, whatever happen, it was good to me. as long as i am alive and healthy, i can always have a second chance.
