我初初都有比亞囝睇"迪士尼"o個套架, 不過佢一開機就走佬, 所以無睇la, 佢淨係鍾意聽音樂, 咁我未投其所好law,
la排佢最愛聽twins個隻兒歌vcd,仲係只聽vol.2o個隻,
其他o個d又走佬 , 不過la期除左聽歌外, 仲好鬼
鍾意叫我講故事佢聽, 一聽就幾次, 不過又係只聽同一個故事, 一講其他佢就收埋本書 ?-( ?-( 比佢激死我

依家隻豬仔仲會對注塊鏡, 渣注本書學我講故事添, 我成日偷偷地睇佢, 好攪笑

ur son is so lovely... like to read books...

coz my son is only 2.5 months and I want him to develop some reading habits... so I use Mother goose loh...

disney... sooooooooo expensive!!!!!!!!!!!! and so I won't buy to him laaa... but luckily I've found a colleaque to give me his second-hand one...

maybe you think I'm too crazy/silly... I have planned a programme for my son in pre-school training... English/Putonghua/Cantonese... coz I want him to enter into a good kindergarden/primary school/secondary school and university afterwards....
actually when I was small. my parents also did this to me garrr....

but some of my friends said I shouldn't be so harsh to my son coz he is a very small baby... well, coz HK is so competitive... that's why I want to train him earlier loh!!!

crazy mum? any good kindergarden suggest... Kowloon/NT

crazy mum? - no la 你既唸法係正常架, 個個媽媽都係咁架, 我都係咁架, 不過我個囝大d, 所以我知佢d性格....絕對唔可以強迫佢架, 佢會發皮四架

不過我可以分享下既, 我相信胎教...我駄住佢時成日聽歌....佢出世之後我發覺佢對音樂好敏感, 唔單止音樂連會發聲既佢都會好專心咁望主, 而且好有節奏感, 慢歌佢會身體擺動, 快歌就跳舞 :mrgreen: , 我會買d硬皮書/沖涼書比佢做玩具, 佢第一本書係佢出世第一個月買比佢, 依家佢以經有一個書櫃既書la, 佢好鍾意睇書(當然有d係每日必讀), 我將書做成好似玩具咁(親切d麻), 反而我覺得佢唔係咁鍾意玩具, 所以玩具既比例都係偏少, 佢鍾彈電子琴.打"古"......最近愛上打波, 你都可以試下買書比bb睇下, 等佢習慣下麻....其實la一點我都係睇書學返黎架....
你地講o個套"Mother goose"係d mud黎架, 可以介紹下嗎??有歌聽架....可能都arm我woh :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

"Mother Goose" is some nusery rhymes, such as "Old MacDonald had a Farm", "Incy Wincy Spider", "Hickery Dickery Dock" etc. There are many different versions (i.e. products). I got mine from Smart Kids Club, it comes in a package with CDs, VCDs and books. Some are in CD forms with lots of songs in one CD. Basically it helps children to learn about their surroundings and rhymes while listening and singing to the songs.

My baby use to like reading books too when she was younger, but since I let the maid take care of her (about 6 months old), she starts playing with the books rather than reading them. :evil:

I just start to let my baby use DWE this week, she loves it. I think it's because she kind of like Mickey Mouse (don't know why). She only start using Play Along at the moment, therefore hasn't come across the green character yet, but I did hear quite a few people say their babies are scare of the green thing. Hope my baby won't lah, cos it does cost a fortune!

Lately, I have been busy setting a proper schedule for my baby cos I wanna let her use the DWE. Therefore I fixed daily pattern is very important. FYI, my baby always do whatever she wants, can never fix a time for her to do so and so.

'Mother Goose' just as clic_1221 said, is a set of English teaching programme for 0-2 years old children... it contains VCDs, CDs, books and development guide for parents (Mine one is subscribed from Singapore and so maybe a bit different from HK version!!) and a gosling... coz Mother Goose series contain 4 parts (each for 6 mths) I just start to use the first series... singing the songs like 'Jingle Bells', 'Jack in the box', 'Twinkle twinkle little stars'... and I sing to my son every morning and afternoon (but not today coz I went to see the doctor since both my hands are so pain (maybe carry bb)...)

I also brought Baby Einstein (2nd hand from my colleague coz his kids are now in P1 and no longer need it) and it contains 10 DVDs and each DVD talks abt different topics (like Baby Newton--introducing shapes, Baby Mozart - introducing Mozart music like Turkish March, Water Music...) and quite interesting... even like my son is now only 2.5 months, he starts to like it!!!

I also believe fetus teaching... I listen Mozart and Bach every day during pregnancy... well, actually I like classical music much also... and now when BB listens to music, he feels very happy...and I hope he also likes to play piano like me la...

Yes, I think it's difficult to control BB (maybe I'm a new mum gua?) coz still my bb wakes up at 3:30am in the morning... (coz he sleeps at 10pm... and we have tried every method to delay his sleeping time but still no use...) ... so maybe every BB has their own characters... now he likes to play saliva (like crabs... making a lot of bubbles...quite funny) and eat his litte thumb...

but will he know I am his mother??? I wish in one day he will and I must be very happy la.

I don't know whether 'mother goose' can be found in Taiwan coz mine set was brought in Singapore...around 500 HKD (whole set exclude the mother goose toy) and the publisher is Marshall Direct Learning and Innoform Media Pte Ltd

My friend (our education expert) also told me that you can buy "Mother Goose" in Singapore not Taiwan.

Though there's some Taiwan books you may order:

Alphakids reading books
Go Facts science books

They are cheaper in Taiwan, but please be reminded that they will be very very heavy.

For 三之三 flash cards, they can deliver to your hotel FOC, but total 25kg.

我鍾意"浸幼"既教學方式law.....比倒空間佢自己思考, 當然我都會報多幾間架...例如:根德園(我家姐極力推薦,因為佢3個都係讀la間),培正, 禮賢...係woh有無聽過"律倫街-啟思"呀???我睇過好多人都話la間好, 你識唔識呀??

All,

I wonder whether we should change the way we put our children's age... When I first joined the list, my BB was 2 months old, however, like every one else, she grows

and she is now 3.5 months old... should we change the list or keep it this way??? ?-( ?-( When time flies, the list will no longer accurate
