hello all mommies,
my girl was just returned home from hospital today due to high fever ar, that's why I haven't log in for a long time.
Found that u all are talking about playgroup & nursery, which are also my interest topic
Re : Delia Good Time playgroup (Shatin plaza)
I quit from the playgroup lah, 'coz the Canadian teacher is very passive, u know, teacher is the soul of the playgroup, it's really meaningless to join the playgroup with a speechless teacher...
Re : nursery
After experiencing the "hospital days" of my girl in these days, both my hubby & me are now re-considering if we should send her to nursery this year....
The nurse told me that it's really WRONG to send baby to nursery 'coz they're very weak and easy to get sick from school. Any comment?
my girl always love eating, she can drink 9oz milk and seems not enough, however, she didn't gain weight (she's at 50% of the weight line) ?-(
I feed her 3 times milk, 2 times congee, will feed her twice times of either one of the followings : fruit, biscuit, bread, juice, etc between meals
I learn from other BK mom about "boiling apple with milk", "steam milk egg", which I tried a few times, Andrea loves them, maybe you can try.
(sorry that my computer doesn't have chinese typing at the moment, but my English maybe not good enough to express well, please let me know if it's not clear)
Apple with milk :
1. cut an apple at the top
2. make a hole in the apple (keep the apple "meat" for later use)
3. 1 scroop of milk power, a little bit of corn flour with the apple "meat", add water when necessary, mix them together
4. put #3 into the apple
5. steam apple for 8 mins, done
Steam milk egg
1. 1 egg with 2 oz milk (~1 sroop of milk power + 2 oz water)
2. steam ~6 mins, done
During winter, sometime I'll cook the apple pear juice + "chuen Pui" (chinese medicine for preventing cough), and feed Andrea the cooked apple & pear, she like it, too
